NCT ID: NCT05151679 Available - Clinical trials for Iron Deficiency Anemia of Pregnancy

Chelated Oral Iron Versus Intravenous Iron Sucrose for Treatment of Iron Deficiency Anemia Late in Pregnancy

Start date: n/a
Phase:
Study type: Expanded Access

compare the efficacy and safety of intravenous iron sucrose versus chelated oral iron in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia late in pregnancy.

NCT ID: NCT03633604 Available - Anemia Severe Clinical Trials

Expanded Access IND Administration of HBOC-201 in Patients With Severe Acute Anemia

Start date: n/a
Phase:
Study type: Expanded Access

HBOC-201 provides an oxygen treatment bridge and can be used to eliminate, delay, or reduce the need for red blood cell transfusions in anemic patients This is an expanded access IND protocol, and will provide treatment with HBOC-201 to severely anemic adults for whom blood is not an option

NCT ID: NCT02934282 Available - Anemia Clinical Trials

HBOC-201 Expanded Access Protocol for Life-threatening Anemia for Whom Allogeneic Blood Transfusion is Not an Option

Start date: n/a
Phase:
Study type: Expanded Access

The purpose of this protocol is to provide treatment with HBOC-201 to patients with life-threatening anemia for whom blood is not an option. Such patients may also be referred to in this document as patients who refuse blood transfusion (PWRBT). Other patients who potentially may require HBOC-201 treatment include those with red blood cell alloantibodies for whom immunologically compatible red blood cell units cannot be found, although these patients are less common than PWRBT.

NCT ID: NCT02684474 Available - Anemia Clinical Trials

Expanded Access Protocol Using HBOC-201

Start date: n/a
Phase:
Study type: Expanded Access

The purpose of this protocol is to provide treatment with HBOC-201 to patients with life-threatening anemia for whom allogeneic blood transfusion is not an option. HBOC 201 [hemoglobin glutamer - 250 (bovine)] has been previously studied as an alternative to blood transfusions in severely anemic patients needing a way to enhance tissue oxygenation. HBOC-201 is purified, cross-linked and polymerized acellular bovine hemoglobin in a modified lactated Ringer's solution, and does not require blood compatibility.

NCT ID: NCT01995305 Available - Fanconi Anemia Clinical Trials

Use Massive Parallel Sequencing and Exome Capture Technology to Sequence the Exome of Fanconi Anemia Children and Their Patents

Start date: n/a
Phase: N/A
Study type: Expanded Access

Fanconi anemia is a rare autosomal or sex linked recessive genetic disease. The disease is characterized by bone marrow hematopoiesis failure, multiple congenital abnormalities, and susceptibility to neoplastic diseases. The cells of FA patients are extremely sensitive to MMC and DEB. The symptoms and ages of FA patients are different, so by comparing the exome of FA patients and their parents, the mutations that were accumulated in FA patients could be found, and these genes might be sensitive to repairment and be important for hematopoiesis maintainance.
