NCT ID: NCT06073561 Recruiting - Colon Polyp Clinical Trials

Underwater Endoscopic Mucosal Resection

Start date: January 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The global aim of this multi-centric study is to assess the learning curve of U-EMR by an endoscopist skilled in C-EMR aiming to assess the application in real world and check the rate of complete EMR and adverse events related to the procedure.

NCT ID: NCT05935124 Recruiting - Adenoma Colon Clinical Trials

A Randomized Comparison Between White Light Endoscopy (WLE) and Bright Narrow Band Imaging (B-NBI) in the Diagnosis of Right Sided Colonic Polyps in Asymptomatic Subjects Undergoing Screening Colonoscopy

WLEvsB-NBI
Start date: August 1, 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A randomized controlled crossover study to determine if narrow band imaging or white light endoscopy is superior in detecting right colonic polyps in average risk subjects undergoing screening colonoscopy

NCT ID: NCT05730192 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

EAGLE Trial CADDIE Artificial Intelligence Endoscopy

EAGLE
Start date: May 10, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The EAGLE study is a prospective randomized controlled multicenter parallel design trial, for the assessment of clinical performance of the CADDIE device and to confirm that the device performs as expected.

NCT ID: NCT05611151 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Real-time Computer-Aided Detection of Colonic Adenomas With NEC WISE VISION® Endoscopy

COLOWISE
Start date: April 30, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, multicenter, randomized study to evaluate the clinical performance of a novel CADe device, WISE VISION® Endoscopy System, in patients undergoing high-definition white light (HDWL) colonoscopy for screening or surveillance of colorectal Cancer (CRC). Eligible subjects who meet the study inclusion/exclusion criteria will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to undergo colonoscopy : - Experimental: CADe colonoscopy procedure with WISE VISION® Endoscopy (CADe Group) - Control: Standard Colonoscopy without CADe (Standard Colonoscopy Group)

NCT ID: NCT05423964 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Impact of AI on Trainee ADR

Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Adenoma detection rate (ADR) is a validated quality metric for colonoscopy with higher ADR correlated with improved colorectal cancer outcomes. Artificial intelligence (AI) can automatically detect polyps on the video monitor which may allow endoscopists in training to improve their ADR. Objective and Purpose of the study: Measure the effect of AI in a prospective, randomized manner to determine its impact on ADR of Gastroenterology trainees.

NCT ID: NCT05158725 Recruiting - Adenoma Colon Clinical Trials

Comparison of Colonoscopy Adenoma Detection Yield

Start date: November 8, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A Prospective Randomized Comparison of colonoscopy Adenoma Detection Yield of (i) Standard Colonoscopy (SC), (ii) artificial intelligence (Discovery) aided colonoscopy, and (iii) artificial intelligence (Discovery) and permanently mounted balloon (G-EYE®) aided colonoscopy.

NCT ID: NCT04756453 Recruiting - Adenoma Colon Clinical Trials

The Effect of Clip-traction on ESD Resection Time.

Start date: February 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Patients scheduled for an endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) in the colorectum will be randomized to the use of a traction device(consisting of an endoscopic clip with a loop of dental floss secured in the lesion to be removed, another clip will anchor the loop to adjacent bowel wall) or a standard ESD.

NCT ID: NCT04464135 Recruiting - Adenoma Colon Clinical Trials

Effect of Water Exchange Plus Acetic Acid Staining on the Detection of Flat Polyps During Colonoscopy

Start date: July 15, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Our previous study (Am. J. Gastroenterol. 2017 04;112(4)) showed that water exchange (WE) colonoscopy was able to increase the detection of flat adenomas as well as overall ADR. We hypothesized that WE based whole-colon acetic acid(AA) staining might be useful to improve the detection of flat lesions compared with WE alone.

NCT ID: NCT04359355 Recruiting - Adenoma Colon Clinical Trials

Computer-aided Detection of Colorectal Polyps

Start date: January 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this observational pilot study, we assess the diagnostic performance of an artificial intelligence sytem for automated detection of colorectal polyps.

NCT ID: NCT04138030 Recruiting - Colon Cancer Clinical Trials

Conventional Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Versus Cold Snare Endoscopic Mucosal Resection of Colonic Lateral Spreading Lesions - A Randomised Controlled Trial

Start date: November 12, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Comparing the complete resection rate and subsequent adenoma recurrence rate at surveillance colonoscopy of 15-40mm laterally spreading adenomas for conventional EMR vs. cold snare EMR.
