Filter by:The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of enoxaparin on venous thromboembolism incidence and bleeding rate (major and minor bleeding) in patients undergoing curative abdominal cancer surgery. The secondary objective is evaluate the incidence of adverse events of enoxaparin in these patients.
The primary objective was to compare the efficacy of once daily [q.d] subcutaneous [s.c.] injections of Semuloparin sodium (AVE5026) with q.d. s.c. injections of Enoxaparin for the prevention of Venous Thromboembolic Events [VTE] in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery. The secondary objectives were to evaluate the safety of AVE5026 in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery, and to document AVE5026 exposure in this population.
The purpose of this study is to determine if the risk of recurrent venous thromboembolism (VTE) after stopping therapy is low and acceptable in patients with a first unprovoked proximal deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE) who have completed 3 months of therapy and who have a negative D-dimer test on therapy and 1 month after stopping therapy.

Some other pregnancy pathologies called Placental Vascular Pathologies (PVP) are linked to VTE by biological thrombophilia and are the principal cause of perinatal mortality. the identification of predictive factors of risk of occurrence or recurrence of two pathologies could enable us to propose an appropriate monitoring of patients at risk.
