Filter by:This study is a prospective, multi-center, randomized controlled trial designed to collect patient outcome data on a commercially available human autologous homologous skin construct with SOC dressing compared to SOC dressings alone in the treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds.
PRF in orabase will be applied as a pack material on chronic oral ulcers of chronic multiple oral lesions compared to conventional topical steroid therapy with clobetasol propionate 0.05% in orabase. The outcomes measured are Pain alleviation as Primary outcome and Clinical improvement in terms of Ulcer size, Number and Mucositis score as Secondary outcomes. Time frame for outcomes assessment will be Daily for 7 Days regarding pain score and weekly for 2 weeks regarding clinical improvement.
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of NATROX™ Topical Oxygen Wound Therapy for subjects with non-healing foot ulceration. Subjects will be treated with standard care for 4 weeks. If the wound is not reduced by more than 40%, NATROX™ will be applied for the next 12 weeks. Throughout the study period, wound measurements will be taken to measure wound reduction.
This is a phase 2 randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, parallel-group multicenter study with an optional open-label extension (OLE) period. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of oral BT-11 compared to placebo in subjects with UC. This study aims to develop and test a theory-based motivation communication training programme for healthcare professionals working with diabetic foot ulcer patients. The investigators will explore the acceptability of the training programme and examine whether the training leads to changes in healthcare professionals' communication style, and results in greater adherence to treatment recommendations (i.e., reduced weight-bearing) in patients.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of PRV-300 for 12 weeks in subjects with active ulcerative colitis. Subjects will receive either PRV-300 or placebo treatment. Each group will receive study drug over a total of 12 weeks, followed by an 8-week safety follow-up period.

A recent multicentre randomised controlled trial compared autofluorescence imaging (AFI) with CE for dysplasia detection in colonoscopy surveillance of patients with longstanding UC (FIND-UC). In this study, CE detected significantly more dysplastic lesions per patient compared with AFI. It is unclear whether this increased dysplasia detection also translates to a reduction of dysplasia at follow-up colonoscopy. The aim of this pre-specified study is therefore to prospectively determine whether there is a difference in dysplasia detection at follow-up colonoscopy between UC patients who were randomized to AFI or CE at index colonoscopy for the FIND-UC trial.
