NCT ID: NCT02031172 Terminated - Dry Eye Syndromes Clinical Trials

Effects of Sustained Reading on the Ocular Surface

Start date: March 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This research is being done to to see if changes in visual reading function correlate with changes in optical and retinal image quality. We hypothesize that changes and deterioration in tear film quality and dynamics may have a negative effect on reading function. People with or without dry eye syndrome may enroll.

NCT ID: NCT02021929 Terminated - Clinical trials for Hepatopulmonary Syndrome

Sorafenib for Hepatopulmonary Syndrome

SHPS
Start date: March 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this clinical trial is to determine the safety and effects of the study drug, sorafenib, in adults diagnosed with hepatopulmonary syndrome (HPS). The study will evaluate how well the drug is tolerated and its effect on the level of oxygen in the blood and the function of the lung vessels.

NCT ID: NCT02021448 Terminated - Clinical trials for Obesity-hypoventilation Syndrome

Predictive Factors of Obesity-hypoventilation Syndrome (OHS) Among Obese Subjects- ETUDE COHYPOB -

Start date: December 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Investigate whether the course of an isolated nocturnal alveolar hypoventilation can predict the future occurrence of obesity-hypoventilation syndrome (OHS) in obese subjects

NCT ID: NCT02020460 Terminated - Clinical trials for Failed Back Surgery Syndrome

Clinical Evaluation of Direct Dorsal Column Stimulation

DDCS
Start date: June 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study will examine the feasibility of Direct Dorsal Column Stimulation using existing Stimulation Leads (Ad-Tech). Secondary endpoints will include pain relief, somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEPs), stimulator settings required, improvement in quality of life and use of pain medications.

NCT ID: NCT02010645 Terminated - Leukemia Clinical Trials

Eltrombopag With Decitabine in Advanced Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)

Start date: March 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical research study is to learn if eltrombopag given in combination with decitabine can help to control advanced MDS. The safety of this study drug combination will also be studied.

NCT ID: NCT01990287 Terminated - Low Back Pain Clinical Trials

SENSE (Subcutaneous and Epidural Neuromodulation System Evaluation) Study

SENSE
Start date: November 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to demonstrate safety and efficacy of spinal cord stimulation with peripheral nerve field stimulation for the treatment of chronic low back and leg pain.

NCT ID: NCT01978535 Terminated - Clinical trials for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome

Iron Sucrose in Adolescents With Iron Deficiency and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)

Start date: December 17, 2014
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to investigate whether the treatment of non-anemic iron deficiency with intervenous iron sucrose will result in decreased symptom reporting and improved cardiovascular indices in adolescents (age 12-21) with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).

NCT ID: NCT01964339 Terminated - Clinical trials for Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome

Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome Prevalence Study

Start date: October 9, 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is an observational study to characterize the prevalence of Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome in patients referred to the sleep lab.

NCT ID: NCT01957644 Terminated - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Phase I Dose Escalation Trial of Volasertib in Combination With Azacitidine in Patients With MDS or CMML

Start date: November 6, 2013
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

To investigate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD), safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy of volasertib in combination with azacitidine in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) and not candidates for hematopoietic stem cell transplant

NCT ID: NCT01950455 Terminated - Clinical trials for Parkinson's Syndrome

Evaluation of the Diagnostic Efficacy and Safety of [123I]NAV5001 as an Imaging Agent to Aid in the Diagnosis of Parkinsonian Syndromes

Start date: November 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 3, open-label, multiple-center, non-randomized single dose study to assess the safety and efficacy of [123I]NAV5001 SPECT imaging in aiding in the differentiaion of parkinsonian syndromes from non-parkinsonian tremor.
