This study will evaluate the efficacy of tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and carboplatin and etoposide (CE) compared with placebo plus atezolizumab and CE in participants with chemotherapy-naive extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC). Eligible participants will be stratified by Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) Performance Status (0 vs. 1), LDH (</= upper limit of normal [ULN] vs. > ULN), and presence or history of brain metastasis (yes vs. no) and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive one of the following treatment regimens during induction phase: - Arm A: Tiragolumab plus atezolizumab plus CE - Arm B: Placebo plus atezolizumab plus CE Following the induction phase, participants will continue maintenance therapy with either atezolizumab plus tiragolumab (Arm A) or atezolizumab plus placebo (Arm B).

NCT ID: NCT04253145 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Carcinoma, Small Cell Lung

Study to Assess Safety,Tolerability,Efficacy of PM01183 and Atezolizumab in Patients w/ Advanced Small Cell Lung Cancer.

Start date: December 13, 2019
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Prospective, open-label, uncontrolled and multicenter phase I-II study in SCLC patients with ECOG PS 0-1 who have failed one prior platinum-containing line but no more than one chemotherapy-containing line. The study will be divided into two parts: a dose-ranging phase I with escalating doses of PM01183 in combination with a fixed dose of atezolizumab, followed by a single-arm phase II part with expansion at the RD determined during the phase I.

NCT ID: NCT04247126 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of SY 5609, a Selective CDK7 Inhibitor, in Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: January 23, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The study consists of 2 parts. Part 1 is dose escalation and will first administer SY-5609 alone to participants with select advanced solid tumors and then in combination with fulvestrant to participants with HR positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. Part 2 is a dose expansion and will first administer SY-5609 in combination with gemcitabine and then SY-5609 in combination with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel in participants with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) .

Start date: September 4, 2020
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and early clinical activity of INCB099280 in participants with select solid tumors

NCT ID: NCT04234607 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Extensive Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Study of TQB2450 or Placebo Combined With Anlotinib, Etoposide and Carboplatin Versus Etoposide and Carboplatin in Subjects With Extensive Small Cell Lung Cancer (ETER701)

Start date: January 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A randomized, double-blind, controlled, multicenter phase III study of TQB2450 or placebo combined with Anlotinib, etoposide and carboplatin versus Etoposide and Carboplatin in subjects with extensive small cell lung cancer. The primary outcome measures include PFS and OS. Extended stage Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) patients will be registered, after signing the informed consent, and then centrally randomized 1:1:1 to the experimental arms and the control arm.

NCT ID: NCT04234113 Active, not recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

NCT ID: NCT04229381 Completed - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Cancer AJCC v8

Resiliency Among Older Adults Receiving Lung Cancer Treatment

ROAR-LCT
Start date: January 22, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This trial studies how well physical therapy and progressive muscle relaxation works in improving physical performance and mood in older patients with stage IIIA-B or IV lung cancer who are undergoing treatment. Improving physical performance and mood may help older patients maintain an independent lifestyle by helping to improve their resilience, the ability to bounce back to normal functioning after a stressor or intervening health event such as treatment or disease progression. Giving physical therapy and progressive muscle relaxation may work in improving symptoms and quality of life in patients with lung cancer.

Study of APG-1252 Plus Paclitaxel in Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: August 20, 2020
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multi-center, open-label, phase Ib/II study of combination therapy with APG-1252 plus paclitaxel in patients with relapsed/refractory small-cell lung cancer(SCLC). The phase Ib portion will be done using time-to-event continual reassessment method (TITE-CRM) methodology to determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD)/recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of APG-1252 with a fixed dose of paclitaxel. The phase II portion will utilize a Simon two-stage design to determine the efficacy of the combination therapy with response rate as the primary endpoint.
