Filter by:This is a multicenter, open-label, Phase 1 study that will be conducted in two parts. Part 1 is the dose escalation of APG-5918. Part 2 is the dose expansion of APG-5918. APG-5918 will be administered orally. Patients will be treated in 28-day cycles.
This study is being done to determine if two different anti-cancer drugs, paclitaxel (PTX) and pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) have similar effects on treating Kaposi Sarcoma (KS) in people living with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) in sub-Saharan Africa. Patients with HIV-related KS will receive either PTX or PLD once every 3 weeks for a total of six cycles.
This research study involves a combination of three drugs given together as a possible treatment for malignant rhabdoid tumor, atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor, epithelioid sarcoma, chordoma or other tumors that are deficient in one of two possible proteins, either INI-1 (SMARCB1) or SMARCA4. The names of the study drugs involved in this study are: - Tazemetostat (TAZVERIK) - Nivolumab (OPDIVO) - Ipilimumab (YERVOY)
Prospective phase 2a clinical trial to demonstrate proof-of-concept for simultaneous hyperpolarized [1-13C]pyruvate and 18F-FDG for positron emission tomography (PET) and MRS (magnetic resonance spectroscopy) in a PET/MR scanner in patients with cancer.
The aim of the project is to improve treatment outcomes in patients with primary malignant bone tumors, refractory to standard therapy, by increasing the availability of advanced therapy, as well as to develop treatment options using advanced molecular diagnostics for patients who have not responded to the standard therapeutic regimen, and to introduce modern diagnostics for risk stratification and for the use in molecularly targeted therapies.
The prospective and retrospective data collection on bone and soft tissue sarcoma is an observational cohort study aimed to collect clinical data and patient reported outcomes of all patients who have been diagnosed with bone or soft tissue sarcoma in the Netherlands. All patients diagnosed with bone or soft tissue sarcoma who are treated, planned for treatment or currently being treated, will be asked to participate in this project.
This is an observational case-control study to train and validate a genome-wide methylome enrichment platform to detect multiple cancer types and to differentiate amongst cancer types. The cancers included in this study are brain, breast, bladder, cervical, colorectal, endometrial, esophageal, gastric, head and neck, hepatobiliary, leukemia, lung, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, renal, sarcoma, and thyroid. These cancers were selected based on their prevalence and mortality to maximize impact on clinical care. Additionally, the ability of the whole-genome methylome enrichment platform to detect minimal residual disease after completion of cancer treatment and to detect relapse prior to clinical presentation will be evaluated in four cancer types (breast, colorectal, lung, prostate). These cancers were selected based on the existing clinical landscape and treatment availability.
This is a Phase 1b study to assess the safety and tolerability of STI-1386, an oncolytic virus, in subjects with relapsed and refractory solid tumors (RRSTs).
Experimental study with biological material : case series review of clinical and histological data
This is an open-label, non-randomized, first-in-human Phase 1/2 study designed to evaluate the safety and tolerability of CFT8634 in subjects with synovial sarcoma and SMARCB1-null tumors who: have received prior systemic therapy; have relapsed/refractory tumors; have unresectable or metastatic disease; and are not candidates for available therapies known to confer clinical benefit. The study will characterize the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary antitumor activity of CFT8634.
