Filter by:This is a 2-part study of the pharmacokinetics (PK) of MK-7655. In Part I, the PK of a single 125 mg dose of MK-7655 given in combination with 250 mg of PRIMAXIN® (imipenem + cilastatin) will be determined in participants with impaired renal function and matched control participants. In Part II, the potential for renal insufficiency to affect non-renal clearance mechanisms will be investigated.
The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of exercise during dialysis using objective measures of fluid status determination, specifically bioimpedance analysis (BIA) and blood volume monitoring (BVM). We hypothesize that exercise during dialysis will be associated with more stable blood pressures and that this will be reflected in different output from BIA and BVM monitoring.
This observational study will evaluate the clinical benefit of Zemplar (paricalcitol injection) in daily routine practice in end-stage renal disease patients with severe over-reactivity of parathyroid glands. Participants will be followed for 6 months. Data will be collected from participants initiated on Zemplar therapy according to standard of care. The time to achieving the maintenance dose of Zemplar (paricalcitol injection), the proportion of participants achieving target parathyroid hormone levels, and prevalence of elevated serum calcium and phosphate levels will be evaluated.
Primary: • To validate the initial dosing recommendations for newly diagnosed MM (Mutiple Myeloma) patients with various degrees of renal failure using pharmacokinetic studies Secondary: - To evaluate the safety of lenalidomide and dexamethasone as induction therapy in newly-diagnosed MM (Multiple Myeloma) patients with renal dysfunction using modified dosing guidelines - To evaluate clinical response of lenalidomide and dexamethasone after 4 cycles using the modified dosing guidelines - To evaluate the ability to collect stem cells after 4 cycles of lenalidomide and dexamethasone induction therapy in MM (Multiple Myeloma) patients with renal failure
The prospective, double blind randomized, parallel control, and multi-center clinical trial will evaluate the safety and efficacy of α-keto acid with restricted protein diet on protecting residual renal function in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients.
To evaluate cardio-renal and overall safety profile of GE 145 320 mg I/ml Injection when compared to iopamidol 370 mg I/mL. The study will focus on elderly subjects with either chronic renal insufficiency, or diabetes mellitus (DM) requiring drug therapy, or congestive heart failure (CHF) NYHA Class III or greater, who are referred for a coronary catheterization procedure with or without PCI.
A 2 stage study to evaluate the amount of fostamatinib in the blood and urine in subjects with impaired kidney (renal) function compared with healthy volunteers with normal renal function. Stage 1 will include healthy subjects and subjects with end stage renal disease, while Stage, 2 may include subjects with mild, moderate and/or severe renal impairment dependent on the outcome of Stage 1. The study will also evaluate safety and tolerability in subjects with renal impairment.
This study is conducted in Europe. The aim of this study is to compare the easiness of use of Norditropin NordiFlex® device to the device previously used by patients or parents.
The current study will allow the assessment of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, elimination rate and clearance of dabigatran etexilate during and following haemodialysis in ESRD patients.
The purpose of this study is to compare the absorption and distribution of a single oral dose of TC-5214 in subjects with renal impairment and with subjects with normal renal function.
