With regard to the fields of competence of advanced practice defined by the Order of October 22, 2021 amending the Order of July 18, 2018 on the system of studies for the State diploma of advanced practice nurse mentioning renal disease, dialysis and renal transplantation (MRDT) and the latest recommendations of the French National Authority for Health (HAS) of July 1 2021 on the monitoring of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), the Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) has its place in improving practices and the care pathway of patients suffering from end-stage chronic renal failure (CKD). In the literature, there are a number of studies arguing the benefits of advanced practice nurse follow-up with patients suffering from chronic renal failure (CKD) in terms of improving their psycho-social and self-care skills. However, few studies, particularly in France, demonstrate its role in the coordination of care. By virtue of their training, advanced practice nurse with an disease, dialysis and renal transplantation (MRDT) specialization acquire skills in managing pretransplant assessment files and in planning the creation of arteriovenous fistula (AVF), which enable them to be autonomous and relevant professionals in the coordination of these processes. This is why it seems appropriate to look at the added value that advanced nursing practice can bring to the follow-up of these patients.
This study is a phase 3 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of SAL-0951 in CKD-anemia patients in Non-dialysis, comprising 8 weeks of double-blind treatment period followed by an open-label treatment period, making up a total of 27 weeks.
The purpose of this Delphi study is to identify priority outcomes for self-management in earlier (non-dialysis) stages of CKD from the perspectives of different stakeholder groups in the UK. The findings of this study will be used to inform outcome measure selection for research and clinical evaluations of self-management resources and to support implementation, commissioning and uptake.
Introduction: This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of acupressure application on Hegu (LI4) point on the severity of acute pain caused by fistula needle in patients with brescia-cimino, snuff-box and antecubital fistula. Methods: This study was randomized control study which was conducted with 66 intervention and 65 control participants. The participants in the intervention group were divided into 3 groups according to the fistula area. Data were collected using Descriptive Information Form and pain scale.
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about and test the effect of an acid/base diet, in chronic kidney patients with CKD stage 4 and 5 in an interventional study with a historical control. The hypothesize is, that an acid/base diet will reduce the degree of acidosis and the need for oral bicarbonate supplements.
This study is a national secondary data analysis to determine the prevalence of diagnosed and undiagnosed CKD in German primary care offices in a patient population at high risk for the development and progression of CKD. Furthermore, it addresses the question of how CKD screening, monitoring and treatment of these patients is conducted within the German primary care setting.

This is a multi-national, observational study program using secondary data sources to address research questions related to 1) real-world dapagliflozin utilisation in CKD and potential for further utilisation, 2), the current CKD treatment landscape and 3) real-world effectiveness of dapagliflozin in CKD (pending feasibility assessment).
The goal of this clinical pre-post study is to evaluate the effect of using a CKD dashboard, which visualizes individual patient data in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease stage 3b-4, and is used to structure the conversation during patient-clinician health visits. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: • what is the effect of the dashboard on patient activation levels (or outcomes related to patient activation)? • What is the effect of the dashboard on the conversation during health visits, including Shared Decision Making (SDM), Motivational interviewing (MI) and conversation topics? Participants will receive three surveys and have two routine care follow up consultations with their clinician audio recorded. Researchers will compare the same patients before and after implementation as well as compare them with patients in another hospital where no dashboard is (yet) implemented to see if patient activation levels (and related outcomes) increase, and whether there is an increase in SDM, MI and a difference in conversation topics.
