NCT ID: NCT01727284 Recruiting - Prostate Tumors Clinical Trials

MR-Guided Cryoablation of Prostate Bed Recurrences

Start date: December 12, 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this research is to see if MR-guided cryoablation can effectively treat prostate tumor recurrences.

NCT ID: NCT01715974 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Women With Recurrent Implantation Failure in IVF

Use of GM-CSF Treatment in Recurrent Implantation Failure

Start date: December 12, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether in Assisted Reproductive Technologies the treatment with GM-CSF, a growth factor working on stem cells, may improve the pregnancy rate and pregnancy outcome in patients experiencing recurrent implantation failure in IVF cycles.

NCT ID: NCT01703949 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Brentuximab Vedotin With or Without Nivolumab in Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory CD30+ Lymphoma

Start date: March 20, 2013
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II pilot trial studies how well brentuximab vedotin with or without nivolumab works in treating patients with CD30+ lymphoma that has come back after a period of improvement or does not respond to treatment. Biological therapies, such as brentuximab vedotin, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving brentuximab vedotin with or without nivolumab may work better in treating patients with CD30+ lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT01672138 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Persistent Atrial Fibrillation

Pulmonary Vein Antrum Isolation (PVAI) Plus Scar Homogenization and Non-PV Triggers Ensure Long-term Recurrence-free Survival in Non-paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

TANTRA
Start date: February 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to examine the long-term success rate of catheter ablation in non-paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients using different ablation strategies such as : (i) pulmonary vein antrum isolation (PVAI) + isolation of left atrial posterior wall, (ii) PVAI plus scar homogenization, (iii) PVAI plus isolation of posterior wall plus ablation of non-PV triggers [ PVAI: Pulmonary Vein Antrum Isolation Non-PV triggers: Triggers arising from sites other than pulmonary veins]

NCT ID: NCT01583751 Recruiting - Recurrence Clinical Trials

Videoendoscopic Pilonidal Sinus Surgery

videosinus
Start date: March 2011
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study examines performing pilonidal sinus surgery minimal invasively with videoendoscopic approach.

NCT ID: NCT01539785 Recruiting - Clinical trials for First Recurrence of Ovarian Cancer

Hyperthermic Intra-peritoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) in Ovarian Cancer Recurrence

HORSE
Start date: September 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of surgery followed by hyperthermic intra-peritoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) versus surgery alone in patients with platinum-sensitive first recurrence of ovarian cancer. Moreover it is a prospective randomized multicenter trial, aimed to investigate the prognostic role of surgery plus HIPEC versus surgery alone in terms of progression free interval, overall survival, morbidity and mortality, second recurrence pattern, quality of life with EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ OV28 questionnaires.

NCT ID: NCT01517945 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Attention and Interpretation Modification (AIM) for Fear of Cancer Recurrence: An Intervention Development Study

Start date: January 2012
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to test, customize, and personalize a mobile app-based intervention program in order to help rare and breast cancer survivors cope with fears of cancer recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT01473784 Recruiting - Tongue Cancer Clinical Trials

Transoral Robotic Surgery in Treating Patients With Benign or Malignant Tumors of the Head and Neck

Start date: December 3, 2007
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot clinical trial studies transoral robotic surgery (TORS) in treating patients with benign or malignant tumors of the head and neck. TORS is a less invasive type of surgery for head and neck cancer and may have fewer side effects and improve recovery

NCT ID: NCT01402180 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Chemoradiation With or Without Nimotuzumab in Treating Esophageal Cancer Patients Who Suffer With Recurrence in Regional Lymph Nodes After Esophagectomy

Nimotuzumab
Start date: December 2010
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A randomized phase II tials to study whether it's benefit of adding Nimotuzumab to chemoradiation for patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma after radical esophagectomy who suffer with locoregional lymph nodes recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT01374659 Recruiting - Thyroid Cancer Clinical Trials

Diagnostic Utility of [18F]-FDG-PET/CT and [124I]-PET/CT for Detection of Recurrence in Differentiated Thyroid Carcinoma

Start date: July 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Several studies have indicated that [124I]-PET/CT or [18F]-FDG-PET/CT may be useful to locate recurrent differentiated thyroid carcinoma lesions in patients with elevated thyroglobulin levels but who do not show pathological lesions when conventional imaging modalities are used. Thus, the investigators evaluated the effectiveness of PET/CT using both [124I] and [18F]-FDG in such patients.
