View clinical trials related to Recurrence.
Filter by:The purpose of this research is to see if MR-guided cryoablation can effectively treat prostate tumor recurrences.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether in Assisted Reproductive Technologies the treatment with GM-CSF, a growth factor working on stem cells, may improve the pregnancy rate and pregnancy outcome in patients experiencing recurrent implantation failure in IVF cycles.
This phase II pilot trial studies how well brentuximab vedotin with or without nivolumab works in treating patients with CD30+ lymphoma that has come back after a period of improvement or does not respond to treatment. Biological therapies, such as brentuximab vedotin, may stimulate the immune system in different ways and stop cancer cells from growing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as nivolumab may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving brentuximab vedotin with or without nivolumab may work better in treating patients with CD30+ lymphoma.
This study aims to examine the long-term success rate of catheter ablation in non-paroxysmal atrial fibrillation patients using different ablation strategies such as : (i) pulmonary vein antrum isolation (PVAI) + isolation of left atrial posterior wall, (ii) PVAI plus scar homogenization, (iii) PVAI plus isolation of posterior wall plus ablation of non-PV triggers [ PVAI: Pulmonary Vein Antrum Isolation Non-PV triggers: Triggers arising from sites other than pulmonary veins]
This study examines performing pilonidal sinus surgery minimal invasively with videoendoscopic approach.
The purpose of this study is to determine the role of surgery followed by hyperthermic intra-peritoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) versus surgery alone in patients with platinum-sensitive first recurrence of ovarian cancer. Moreover it is a prospective randomized multicenter trial, aimed to investigate the prognostic role of surgery plus HIPEC versus surgery alone in terms of progression free interval, overall survival, morbidity and mortality, second recurrence pattern, quality of life with EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ OV28 questionnaires.
The purpose of this study is to test, customize, and personalize a mobile app-based intervention program in order to help rare and breast cancer survivors cope with fears of cancer recurrence.
This pilot clinical trial studies transoral robotic surgery (TORS) in treating patients with benign or malignant tumors of the head and neck. TORS is a less invasive type of surgery for head and neck cancer and may have fewer side effects and improve recovery
A randomized phase II tials to study whether it's benefit of adding Nimotuzumab to chemoradiation for patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma after radical esophagectomy who suffer with locoregional lymph nodes recurrence.
Several studies have indicated that [124I]-PET/CT or [18F]-FDG-PET/CT may be useful to locate recurrent differentiated thyroid carcinoma lesions in patients with elevated thyroglobulin levels but who do not show pathological lesions when conventional imaging modalities are used. Thus, the investigators evaluated the effectiveness of PET/CT using both [124I] and [18F]-FDG in such patients.
