This is study designed to investigate the efficacy and safety of Jaktinib in the treatment of participants with moderate to severe, chronic plaque psoriasis as assessed by the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score and routine safety assessments.
This study plans to calculate the prevalence and incidence of palmoplantar pustulosis and generalized pustular psoriasis based on the national medical insurance data and analyze the composition characteristics and some clinical features of patients, through taking into account of the research status of palmoplantar pustulosis and generalized pustular psoriasis and the characteristics of medical insurance data.
The purpose of this study is to describe the treatment patterns of participants receiving systemic treatment for of palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP) in Japan.
Psoriasis is a chronic, systemic, inflammatory disease in which skin cells build up and develop thick, red and white scaly patches on the skin. There is an unmet medical need for effective treatment in pediatric patients and this study is being done to evaluate risankizumab in pediatric participants with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. This study will assess the change in disease symptoms. Risankizumab is a drug being studied for the treatment for plaque psoriasis in pediatric participants. This study has 4 parts. Part 1: Participants aged 12 < 18 will receive a fixed dose of risankizumab. Part 2: Participants aged 12 < 18 will receive; - Period A: Risankizumab or ustekinumab based on body weight followed by; - Period B: Risankizumab or no treatment. - Period C: Re-treatment with risankizumab (if needed). Part 3: Participants aged 6 < 12 will receive risankizumab based on body weight. Part 4: Participants aged 6 < 12 will receive risankizumab based on body weight (Japan only: Participants aged 12 > 18 will receive risankizumab based on body weight). Around 132 participants will be enrolled in approximately 50 sites worldwide. Risankizumab and ustekinumab are given as a subcutaneous (under the skin) injection. Parts 1, 3, and 4: Risankizumab for 40 weeks with a follow-up call 20 weeks later for a study duration of approximately 65 weeks. Part 2: - Period A: Risankizumab or ustekinumab for 16 weeks. - Period B: Risankizumab or no treatment for 36 weeks. - Period C: Re-treatment with risankizumab for 16 weeks. Follow-up call 20 weeks later for a study duration of approximately 81 weeks. Participants from each Part who meet eligibility criteria for an open-label extension (OLE) study may continue on risankizumab for 216 additional weeks. There may be a higher burden for study participants compared to standard treatment. Participants will attend monthly visits and medical assessments will check the effect of treatment through blood tests, questionnaires, and checking for side effects.
The main objective of this study is to investigate whether controlled dose reduction of IL17 or IL23 inhibiting biologics is not inferior compared to usual care in psoriasis patients. Therefore, a pragmatic, multicentre, randomized, controlled, non-inferiority study will be carried out.
The observational, non-interventional study will assess the efficacy, safety, prescription and utilization patterns of Tildrakizumab in participants with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in routine clinical practice.
The overall aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of an interdisciplinary combined clinic intervention compared to usual care in a population of patients with two or more Immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs).
This study was created to provide subjects who complete Week 52 (end of Apremilast Extension Phase) of study CC-10004-PPSO-003 the option to continue to receive open-label apremilast therapy. The study will consist of up to 208 weeks of long-term treatment followed by an 8-week observational follow-up phase.
The purpose of this research study is to determine the efficacy of TENS therapy in reducing the pain experienced by patients during and after the injection of biological medications. The study team is interested in recording the level of pain reduction from TENS therapy to determine if this intervention is effective at reducing discomfort associated with medication administration so that it may possibly be applied to other patients in an effort to reduce treatment-related discomfort, anxiety, and possibly increase adherence. A total of 10-20 subjects at one research site will be recruited to participate, specifically, individuals who receive the injection of medication in two separate sites. The inclusion criteria will be an age of > 18 years old, a diagnosis of psoriasis, and currently receiving biologic medication injection in two sites during their dermatology clinic visit. The first step is to administer the biologic medication in one thigh without the use of TENS therapy. This is done to establish a control, or baseline, for how painful the injection experience is. The second step involves a study team member applying two to four TENS unit pads (made of adhesive gel) to the skin of your thigh approximately two centimeters from the site where injection of the biological medication takes place. The device will be turned on during the injection of the medication. Medication injection will take place by either the patient or nursing staff as it would normally take place without involvement in this study. Immediately after both steps, subjects will be given a brief survey to determine their pain level.
