This is a single-centre, open-label, non-randomised, single oral dose study in healthy male subjects to assess the mass balance recovery of carbon-14 (14C)-BTD-001.
The purpose of the study to prove benefits of adding metformin to insulin for controlling presentational and gestational diabetes mellitus and improving neonatal outcome.
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have been used in the treatment and prevention of graft-versus host disease (GVHD). In this study the investigators aim to present the efficacy of mesenchymal stem cells in graft versus host disease prophylaxis and effect of engraftment in haploidentical recipients. Forty patients aged older than 18 who have indications for haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation will be included to the study. MSCs will be isolated from donor bone marrows and infused to the patient after conditioning regimen on day +6. If the haploidentical transplantation results improve with MSCs treatment it would be possible to ameliorate the problem of HLA-matched donor paucity in Turkey and prefer haploidentical donors.
Treatment of Dupuytren's contracture requires multiple injections into the palm of the hand to weaken the cords, followed by rupture of the strands 2 days later. Anesthesia is required for both phases of treatment. It is hypothesized that extended-release liposome bupivacaine prolongs nerve blockade of the wrist allowing patients to undergo this 2-part regimen with less pain.
Oro-tracheal intubation in operating room in obese patients with BMI > 35kg/m2 remains a critical event. The aim of this study is to determine whether Nasal High Flow Therapy by nasal cannula Optiflow® is more efficient than the BIPAP preoxygenation before orotracheal intubation after crash induction in obese patients
This phase I/II trial studies the best dose of pembrolizumab and binimetinib and how well it works when given together with pembrolizumab in treating patients with triple negative breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Binimetinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving pembrolizumab and binimetinib may work better in treating patients with triple negative breast cancer.
To assess the incidence, risk factors and clinical courses of cystic macular lesions (CMLs) after uncomplicated phacoemulsification and evaluate the efficacy of topical NSAIDs on the prevention of pseudophakic cystic macular lesions
To describe AMH serum levels dynamics during natural cycle using an automated assay.
