The investigators will pilot test an intervention to use a mobile application ("app") to improve HIV self-testing (HST) with high-risk men in China. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to an intervention group - which involves access to a mobile app-based HIV testing health promotion and risk reduction program - versus control. Participants will be evaluated at baseline and at 6-month follow up with respect to HST and changes in sexual risk behaviors.
Psychiatric disorders in women with prolonged infertility with or without IVF/ICSI failure will be included then a questionnaire will be applied plus psychiatric examinatins
This study is being performed to assess the feasibility of adapting radiotherapy plans based on functional lung information and increasing the dose to the primary tumour. This is a single arm interventional pilot study involving 20 patients. Aims Primary: to assess the feasibility of using ventilation and perfusion positron emission computed tomography (V/Q PET/CT) scans to adapt radiotherapy plans using Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) to avoid regions of functional lung and deliver a higher dose to the primary tumour Secondary: to assess the incidence of acute and late radiotherapy toxicities, to quantify regional ventilation loss and regional perfusion loss on post treatment V/Q PET/CT, to assess associations of V/Q PET/CT with other functional lung imaging techniques, to assess overall survival, progression free survival and quality of life outcomes. Participants: 20 patients stage IIIa-c non-small cell lung cancer for curative intent radiotherapy. Methods: All patients will receive functional lung adapted 60 Gray (Gy) in 30 fractions to the primary and nodal planning target volume with a simultaneous integrated boost to the primary tumour to a total dose 69Gy in 30 fractions. Expected outcomes: That functionally adapted lung radiotherapy using V/Q PET/CT imaging and VMAT planning is technically feasible.
This pilot study is a randomized controlled trial designed to test the effect of the administration of adjunctive azithromycin in conjunction with standard outpatient treatment for uncomplicated severe acute malnutrition (SAM) in children aged 6-59 months. Children presenting to nutritional programs in Burkina Faso who meet eligibility criteria will be randomized to a single dose of oral azithromycin or a 7-day course of amoxicillin (standard of care) upon admission into the program. All enrolled children will receive ready-to-use therapeutic foods (RUTF). Enrolled children will be followed at each weekly clinic follow-up visit up to 8 weeks following admission. Data on anthropometric indicators, vital status, and adverse events will be collected during follow-up. Nutritional recovery over the 8-week study period will be compared by arm.
The study is to evaluate preliminary anti-tumor activity (overall response rate, ORR) of IBI308 monotherapy in subjects with advanced/metastatic solid malignancies. Patients will be recruited for 2 cohorts: • Cohort 1: Advanced/metastatic cancers with TMB>10 mutations per megabase (mut/Mb). This enrollment of this cohort has been stopped per sponsor's communication with the sites. For patients who have already enrolled in this cohort, treatment and monitoring will be conducted as stipulated by the protocol. The patients will remain on study until disease progression or intolerable toxicity, death, withdrawal of consent, or end of study, whichever occurs first. Cohort 2: Advanced/metastatic endometrial cancer (N=40)
This clinical trial studies how well the sensorimotor rehabilitation program works in improving quality of life in patients with early stage breast cancer. A hand and foot sensory improvement program from occupational and physical therapists may improve patients' function in everyday tasks and overall quality of life.
The relationship between the target effect site concentration of remifentanil and the pupil diameter and reactivity in response to a standard noxious stimulus in cardiac surgery during extra corporeal circulation will be evaluated.
Phase 2b, randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled dose range finding study to evaluate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of ISB 830 in adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. The study will be conducted in 2 Parts, with dosing Groups 1-4 comprising Part 1, and dosing Groups 5-6 comprising Part 2. All subjects will receive open-label ISB 830 after a 16 week blinded treatment period.
To evaluate the feasibility of providing daytime bright light in the ICU in a pilot randomized controlled trial.
