Patient Registry in Patients Undergoing Contrast-Enhanced Harmonic Endoscopic Ultrasound Imaging

This study creates a patient registry of patients undergoing contrast-enhances-harmonic endoscopic ultrasound imaging. In order to improve what doctors see on the ultrasound exam, sometimes intravenous contrast can be used to better emphasize the blood flow in a particular organ or lesion. Creating a local database that can be used as a patients registry may help doctors keep track of all patients that undergo contrast-enhanced endoscopic ultrasound procedures and also to monitor for possible procedure adverse events.

Study to Evaluate the Effects of a Cytochrome P450 2C19 Inhibitor on the Pharmacokinetics of Miricorilant

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) of miricorilant in the presence and absence of the strong cytochrome P450 [(CYP) 2C19] inhibitor, fluvoxamine, in healthy participants. Participants will receive a single dose of miricorilant under fed conditions with a standard breakfast after an overnight fast alone and in combination with once-daily doses of fluvoxamine. Blood samples will be collected at regular intervals for PK and safety analysis between admission and discharge from the clinical unit.

Changes in the Force-velocity Relationship of Knee Muscles After ACL Reconstruction

Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear is a frequent and devastating injury in sport, especially in pivoting-contact disciplines. In many cases, athletes will undergo an ACL reconstruction (ACL-R) for recovering knee stability, preventing further injuries and returning to sport (RTS). Among the criteria for RTS, knee muscle strength is the most used objective criteria and especially the symmetry of knee flexors and/or extensors between the operated and uninjured knee. Isokinetic testing of knee muscle strength is considered as a reference for knee muscle testing during the follow up stages after ACL-R. This evaluation allows to measure the strength (torque) of knee flexors and extensors at several angular velocities. However, there is no relevant litterature about the force-velocity (Fo-v) relationship of knee flexors and extensors after ACL-R. The present study aimed to evaluate and test the differences between the Fo-v relationship parameters between the operated and uninjured knees at 4 months and 8 months after ACL-R, using the 2-points method with isokinetic testing. Immunotherapy has transformed cancer treatment with the PD-1 class of checkpoint inhibitors - pembrolizumab and nivolumab -- demonstrating durable responses in Stage IV metastatic tumors such as non-small cell lung cancer and melanoma. Despite these numerous successes, PD-1/PD-L1 checkpoint blockade therapies do have a number of shortcomings. The Effect of Nursing Education on Oral Mucositis in Bone Marrow Transplant Patients

In this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of oral care training for oral mucositis, which will be given by the researcher to patients who have undergone bone marrow transplantation, on the incidence and severity of oral mucositis in patients. The aim of the study is to be carried out in a public and private hospital in Antalya province, in two different hospitals with a public and private status, and with a total of 60 patients, 30 of which are in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. In the study, "oral care training for oral mucositis" and "oral mucositis follow-up procedure" will be developed by the researcher for bone marrow transplant patients. Bone marrow transplant patients will be educated and followed up according to the follow-up procedure before starting the chemotherapy regimen treatments planned before the transplant.
