Data from the study will be used to support CE Mark of the FlexNav™ Delivery System and Loading System in Europe.

The prevalence of hypertension among U.S. adults increased from 32% to 46% and African Americans are disproportionately impacted. Self-managing hypertension presents challenges such as dealing with complex treatment regimen, including critical components of recommended hypertension treatment such as self-blood pressure monitoring, and lifestyle modifications involving diet, exercise, and tobacco cessation. African Americans with hypertension have lower adherence to self-management behavior due to multifactorial reasons. Substantial evidence has demonstrated the important role of community support in improving patients' self-management of a variety of chronic illnesses, though integrating technology in such programs are rarely offered. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of a community outreach program using a technology-based intervention (TBI) to support self-managing hypertension (called COACHMAN) to improve BP control.
Psycho-traumatic disorders are a disabling condition whose epidemiological data vary according to the country but also the populations studied and the measuring instruments used. The estimated prevalence of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) appeared to be increasing in recent years, and this appears to be due, among other things, to the improvement of the standardized evaluation procedure. The survey "Mental Health in General Population", conducted in metropolitan France between 1999 and 2003 on more than 36,000 people estimated its instantaneous prevalence (last month) of a full PTSD was 0.7% in the SMPG overall sample, with almost equal frequency between men (45%) and women (55%). This figure is close to that reported in a European population for the ESEMeD study. A very significant psychiatric comorbidity was found in subjects with PTSD, particularly with mood disorders, other anxiety disorders and addictive behaviors. The link with the suicidal risk was clearly established, which is the gravity of this pathology. The most important publications are made by American teams who have identified and evaluated the treatment of this pathology among veterans of the various wars led by the country.

Functional and quantitative renal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has seen a number of recent advances, and techniques are now available that can generate quantitative imaging biomarkers with the potential to improve the management of kidney disease. However, there are knowledge gaps that must be addressed before renal MRI methods could be more widely adopted in clinical research and ultimately be transferred to clinical practice, including the biological basis of different MRI biomarkers, and how the application of these biomarkers will improve patient care. Among renal MRI techniques, renal diffusion weighted MRI (DWI) has been increasingly used in the last decade, showing high potential as a surrogate and monitoring biomarker for interstitial fibrosis in chronic kidney disease (CKD), as well as a surrogate biomarker for the inflammation in acute kidney diseases that may impact patient selection for renal biopsy in acute graft rejection. Within the ready-to-start ACH471-205 clinical trial, an Open-Label Phase 2 Proof-of-Concept Study in Patients with C3 Glomerulopathy (C3G) or Immune-Complex Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis (IC-MPGN) treated with ACH-0144471, aimed at evaluating the efficacy of 12 months of oral ACH-0144471 in patients with C3G or IC-MPGN, patients will undergo baseline and 12-month follow-up renal biopsies, and renal function will be assessed over time by estimated or measured (when available) glomerular filtration rate (GFR). Adding multi-parametric NCE-MRI to the examinations under the ACH471-205 study protocol will give the opportunity to elucidate, in a well-defined cohort of patients, the potential of NCE-MRI as biomarker of renal microstructure and functional change.

The purpose of this evaluation is to understand the impact of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPS) programming that AmeriCares (a non-profit disaster response organization) is currently providing to healthcare and social service providers in Southeast Texas and Puerto Rico. The MHPS services are designed to provide skills to reduce stress, improve coping and reduce symptoms of burnout (compassion fatigue).
