Filter by:The primary aim of this prospective, multicentre study is to develop an accurate and convenient tool to predict the risk of PTDM at 3 months post-transplant, based on information on the day of transplantation (day 0). In order to create such model, we will start by identifying individual predictor variables at the day of transplantation and subsequently explore the optimal combination of these predictors in multivariable models. Secondary objectives include: - Compare the performance of the model based on predictor variables at day 0 with existing models for prediction of PTDM (Chakkera, San Antonio Diabetes Prediction Model and Framingham Offspring Study Diabetes Mellitus algorithm) - Explore the glucose level evolution during the first 2 weeks after transplantation using continuous glucose monitoring, and its relationship with baseline patient characteristics and immunosuppressant drug use. - Evaluate the added value of incorporating information on glucose levels in the first and second weeks post-transplant to improve the PTDM prediction model. - Identify predictors for early post-transplant hyperglycemia (first 2 weeks post-transplantation) - Explore the correlation between early post-transplant hyperglycemia (fasting glycemia, pre-dinner glycemia) and PTDM at 3 months
The Farseeing Study will explore long-term effectiveness, safety, and treatment patterns among patients being treated with faricimab in real-world, routine clinical practice in China. It is a primary data collection, non-interventional, prospective and retrospective, multi-center study designed to collect real-world, long-term data to gain clinical evidence on faricimab, by observing cohorts of patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), and retinal vein occlusion (RVO) who are receiving treatment with faricimab.
The purpose of the IRE System is to address the clinical need for reducing the volume of hypertrophic inferior turbinate(s) causing nasal obstruction while minimizing side effects and complications. Procedure time will also be reduced. The IRE System is designed to be more comfortable for patients, as it employs a noninvasive procedure using a high voltage pulsed electric field to create irreversible nanopores in the cell membrane, leading to cell death and the reduction of the inferior turbinate volume.
Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a group of diseases resulting from clonal hyperplasia of memory T cells in the skin. The increasing incidence and high treatment costs have posed significant challenges to public health and the economy. Current treatment guidelines only provide partial control, leading to varying remission times and recurrence rates. This study aims to use molecular subtyping and immunohistochemistry to guide treatment selection for CTCL patients, aiming to prolong clinical benefit, improve treatment safety, and reduce economic burden.
The goal of the randomized clinical trial is to examine the effect of early mobilization on primary and secondary outcomes in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by aneurysm rupture. Researchers will compare early mobiliziation vs. standrad bed rest care.
JDEPTH-LM Registry is a prospective, observational, multi-center study designed for the efficacy and safety of Double-effect kissing balloon technique (W-KBT) in left main (LM) bifurcation percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) using Perfusion balloon (PB) and Drug coated balloon (DCB) in patients with left main coronary artery disease (LMD) with left circumflex artery (LCx) ostium stenosis.
The goal of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a combination regimen of mitoxantrone hydrochloride liposome injection, cytarabine and venetoclax (MAV) in the treatment of relapsed or refractory (R/R) AML. It will also tentatively explore the correlation between different biological characteristics and therapeutic efficacy. The main questions it aims to answer are:Dose the combination regimen of MAV enhanced the composite complete remission in R/R AML? Participants will receive laboratory tests of bone marrow and blood specimens at regular times after MAV treatment.
This study looks to gather data on hepatomiR, a CE-certified test already intended for gauging liver-related outcomes, in order to define a cut-off regarding specific decompensation events (ascites, variceal hemorrhage, hepatic encephalopathy) in chronic liver disease (CLD). Based on these data, it is aimed to advance the current understanding of factors driving decompensation, with potential repercussions for future risk management and therapy.
The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy, efficiency, and patient experience of a new intervention program on adolescents with high-complexity eating disorders (ED). A prospective group of adolescents with ED (N=60) will follow this treatment program including four different phases: 1) Inpatient treatment; 2) Family Treatment Apartment; 3) Home Treatment; 4) Recovery within the community. The investigators will use a retrospective, control group (N=60) that matched the prospective group in age, sex, ED diagnosis, and severe symptomatology. Primary variables regarding Body Mass Index (BMI), ED symptomatology, functionality, recovery (yes/no), type of outpatient services (low/mid/high intensity), number of readmissions, and patient experience will be assessed at discharge, and after 6 and 12 months. Secondary variables include anxiety, depression, readiness to recover, quality of life symptoms, caregiver skills, and functionality of the family
This is a randomized clinical trial to test the effectiveness of combining a proven psychological intervention called behavioural activation therapy alongside esketamine treatment for treatment resistant major depressive episodes in individuals with major depressive disorder or bipolar disorder. Encouraging participants to practice new behaviours while their mood is improved through esketamine treatment may lead to more lasting recovery from depression.
