NCT ID: NCT06247917 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Allogeneic Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation With FBM Conditioning for MDS

Start date: March 3, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

To assess the safety and efficacy of FLU-BU-MEL as a conditioning regimen for allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with untreated MDS-EB or IPSS-R that is intermediate-risk (>3.5 points), high-risk, or very high-risk. The investigators conducted this clinical trial. There will be three phases to this trial: screening, therapy, and follow-up. A) Screening phase: Qualified patients are screened for trial participation by a medical history, physical examination, laboratory testing, and disease evaluation after providing their informed consent. B) Treatment duration: patients receive allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation prepped with Flu-Bu-Mel in accordance with the protocol. C) Follow-up period: patients were checked on at the scheduled time to assess safety and efficacy. HSCT conditioning regiment: Flu 30 mg/m2/d d-6 days to d-2 9 (intravenously over two hours), : MEL 50 mg/m2/d intravenously, d-3 to d-2; BU 0.8 mg/kg/q6h d-6 to d-5 (intravenously, over 2 hours per drip). Fludarabine and melphalan do not require a dose adjustment based on body weight; however, if body mass index BMI> 25, ideal body weight (IBW) should be calculated (as BMI=25), and then determine Busulfan dosage based on corrected body weight (AIBW25). AIBW25=IBW+25% x (actual body weight - IBW)

NCT ID: NCT06247423 Recruiting - Nerve Block Clinical Trials

High-frequency Alternating Current Stimulation for Tremor in Parkinson's Disease.

Start date: February 2, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover study is to test the effectiveness of 10 kilohertz (kHz) high-frequency transcutaneous stimulation for tremor in people with Parkinson's disease. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Compare the effectiveness between sham stimulation and real stimulation (10kHz) for different types of tremors [rest tremor, postural tremor, kinetic tremor], fine motor skills, and maximal isometric handgrip strength. - Register adverse events, the blinding success of participants and evaluator, and subjective perception of tremor improvement. Participants will perform the following tasks in an "off" state (without levodopa and dopamine agonists medication). All of them were performed on the upper limb with more tremor. - Rest Tremor: Forearm on the armrest, count backward from 100 to 0 as fast as possible for 1 minute and 30 seconds. - Postural Tremor: Extend the arm parallel to the floor (90º shoulder flexion with the forearm extended) for 30 seconds. - Kinetic Tremor: Hold a cup by the handle, raise it close to the mouth for 3 seconds, then return to the initial position. - Fine Motor Skills: Complete the nine-hole peg test, placing pegs into holes as quickly as possible. - Handgrip Strength: Squeeze the device as strongly as possible for 3 seconds, then rest for 15 seconds.

NCT ID: NCT06247397 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Interstitial Lung Disease

Effect of HIgh-flow Therapy in Long-term Oxygen Therapy

HILOT
Start date: June 10, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a registry-based, randomized, controlled clinical trial of the effect of added high-flow oxygen therapy (using the device Lumis HFT) during one year in people with long-term oxygen therapy (LTOT) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or interstitial lung disease (ILD).

NCT ID: NCT06247150 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease

Tissue Immune Landscape of Graft Versus Host Disease After Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation (TIL-GVHD)

TIL-GVHD
Start date: May 21, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Graft versus Host Disease (GVHD) is frequent after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT). GVHD occurs following 2 patterns : acute GVHD (aGVHD) or chronic GVHD (cGVHD). The latter occurs in nearly 50% of patients and its pathogenesis remains poorly understood. Previous translational studies have delineated biological immune dysregulation involved in cGVHD and facilitated the development of new drug and therapeutic strategies. New aspects of T and B cells collaboration in the context of cGVHD using blood description of a key player called TFH, classicaly involved in germinal center reaction, were previously uncovered (Forcade et al, Blood 2016). Previous studies in the context of auto-immune inflammation (lupus nephritis) or organ transplant rejection, suggested that target tissue could contain accessory lymphoid structures (TLS). The description of such structures in cGVHD target tissue would give the opportunity to directly analyze immune key player involved the pathogenesis of cGVHD.

NCT ID: NCT06247098 Recruiting - Dental Implant Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Sinus Augmentation Bone Healing Using Autograft and Xenograft Compared to Xenograft Alone

Start date: September 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate bone healing at 4 months after lateral sinus augmentation with a 4:1 ratio of autologous bone and xenograft or xenograft alone. A radiographic volumetric, histomorphometric, and histologic analysis.

NCT ID: NCT06246955 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Malignant Solid Neoplasm

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Based Virtual Group Therapy to Improve Psychological Wellbeing in Patients With Cancer

Start date: January 8, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial tests how well acceptance and commitment therapy and compassion based virtual group therapy works to improve psychological wellbeing, such as compassion, understanding, and flexibility, in patients with cancer. Receiving a cancer diagnosis, undergoing cancer treatment, and living with cancer- or treatment-related symptoms have often been found to be associated with elevated distress and decreased quality of life for individuals, even when the disease is stable or in remission. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) has demonstrated considerable benefits on individuals' quality of life, psychological flexibility, and amelioration of psychological distress following a cancer diagnosis and in the face of uncertainty, loss, and challenges associated with cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06246630 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor

In Vitro Organoid Drug Sensitivity-Guided Treatment for Advanced Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor

Start date: April 3, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to explore whether chemotherapy and targeted-therapy regimens guided by organoid drug sensitivity test can improve the outcomes of non-resectable locally advanced and metastatic Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. At the same time, this study will evaluate the successful stablishment rate of organoid from biopsy tissue , and explore the concordance between drug sensitivity test results and patients' treatment response
