NCT ID: NCT06090812 Completed - Acute Brain Injury Clinical Trials

Initial Volume Status in Patients With Acute Brain Injury is Associated With Neurological Prognosis

Start date: January 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study, we investigated the clinical variability in paroxysmal sympathetic hyperactivity in patients with acute brain injury and examined the prognostic value of the Paroxysmal Sympathetic Hyperactivity Assessment Measure (PSH-AM) in relation to Doppler ultrasound assessment of volume status, right heart function, and pulmonary edema. Thirty patients with ABI were prospectively enrolled. A correlation analysis between the PSH-AM score and related clinical indicators was performed using Pearson's or Spearman's correlation coefficient. Receiver operating characteristic curves were used to assess the prediction of the 6-month Glasgow Outcome Scale Extended score for neurorehabilitation prognosis.

NCT ID: NCT06089720 Completed - Clinical trials for Orthodontic Appliance Complication

ZnO Nanoparticles Coated Orthodontic Molar Tube

ZnONPs
Start date: February 15, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Orthodontic treatment is an elective procedure to improve the patient's dentofacial appearance. The complex design of fixed appliances provides a platform that leads to increased plaque accumulation around orthodontic brackets. So, the risk to develop demineralization area adjacent to orthodontic brackets is a major barrier in achieving this goal. Oral hygiene is greatly complicated following the placement of fixed orthodontic Appliances. Molar tube in place are considered for nearly all patients experiencing fixed orthodontic therapy over the whole treatment period, which normally lasts 1.5 to 2 years. To the best of the authors' knowledge, the application and antimicrobial efficacy of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles coating on orthodontic molar tube material has not been integrated clinically. White spot lesions during orthodontic treatment have a documented etiology. Briefly, the accumulation of plaque and food around brackets, bands, wires, and other attachments caused decreased pH and increased S. mutans colonization, which led to the possibility of clinical demineralization. The aims of study are to assess the antimicrobial effect of nanoparticle coated stainless steel orthodontic molar tube material (OMT) with zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles in relative to uncoated orthodontic molar tube (UOMT) against the streptococcus. mutans& lactobacllius bacteria that cause white spot lesion around the fixed orthodontic appliance. .

NCT ID: NCT06089304 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Patient Centered Machine Learning Model for Bleeding and Ischemic Risk

xDAPT
Start date: May 2008
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) is indicated in all patients undergoing coronary stent implantation to prevent ischemic recurrencies despite an increased risk of bleeding. Accordingly, clinical practice guidelines advocate tailoring DAPT duration according to the patient's individual ischemic and bleeding risk profile. Data from 11 clinical trials involving patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with an everolimus-eluting stent will be pooled and analyzed to develop a machine learning-based algorithm to predict the probability of an ischemic or bleeding event up to 1 year. These predictive risk models aim to support clinical decision-making on DAPT management after PCI.

NCT ID: NCT06085066 Completed - Clinical trials for Heart; Surgery, Heart, Functional Disturbance as Result

The Role of Modified Ultrafiltration Following Open Heart Surgery

Start date: December 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to investigate the effect of combining conventional ultrafiltration and modified ultrafiltration compared to conventional ultrafiltration alone in patients who underwent open heart surgery.

NCT ID: NCT06083974 Completed - Clinical trials for Metastatic Colorectal Adenocarcinoma

Metastatic Left Colon and Rectal Cancer Treatment With Anti_EGFR Targeted Therapy

EGFR
Start date: January 1, 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Colorectal cancer ranks the second lethal cancer and third prevalent malignant tumour worldwide, Despite of different odern modalities for diagnosis, large number of cases diagnosed at metastatic advanced stage . New treatment approach has been discovered habe been discovered making a huge revolution in metastatic colorectal cancer represented by targeted therapy including anti_EGFR ,anti_angiogenic and kinase inhibitors .

NCT ID: NCT06082674 Completed - Premature Clinical Trials

Novel Low Cost Bubble CPAP as an Alternative Respiratory Support in Low Resource Setting

Start date: April 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-blind randomized controlled trial done in a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Preterm newborns with RDS were randomized to receive oxygen therapy through bubble CPAP vs ventilator-derived CPAP. Differences in arterial blood gases, oxygen saturation, number of surfactant and CPAP failure rate between study groups were analyzed.

NCT ID: NCT06082596 Completed - Clinical trials for Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Study of BEBT-908 in Subjects With Advanced Hematological Tumors

Start date: March 2, 2016
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and tolerance of BEBT-908 for injection in the treatment of recurrent refractory malignant lymphoma, multiple myeloma and chronic lymphoblastic leukemia, and to obtain the pharmacokinetic data and preliminary efficacy of BEBT-908 for injection, and to explore the relationship between the safety and efficacy of BEBT-908 for injection and related biomarkers.

NCT ID: NCT06080204 Completed - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor G2

Real-world Study on Adjuvant Octreotide Therapy in pNETs

Start date: March 2008
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Adjuvant therapy in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNETs) after radical resection lacks evidence-based data and is controversial. Real-world data were clustered to validate whether the long-acting octreotide is a potential candidate for adjuvant therapy in high recurrence risk G2 pNET patients.

NCT ID: NCT06078904 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Different Doses of Colchicine on hsCRP

Start date: October 10, 2023
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Colchicine reduced atherothrombotic cardiovascular events in the COLCOT and LoDoCo2 studies. US Food and Drug Administration approved colchicine as the first anti-inflammatory drug for cardiovascular diseases on June, 2023. However, there is a lack of evidence for colchicine in East Asian population with coronary heart disease, and its effectiveness and safety need further exploration. Therefore, this study aims to use different doses of colchicine to treat patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention, explore the effects of different doses of colchicine on hsCRP levels, and find the optimal dose of colchicine for treating coronary heart disease in China.

NCT ID: NCT06076590 Completed - Clinical trials for Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

Start date: November 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this pilot randomized trial is to compare the effect of Multiple Electrolytes Injection Ⅱand saline on the occurrence of hyperchloremia within 72h of randomization in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage(aSAH). A secondary aim was to provide data for the design and power of a large-scale, multicenter, randomized controlled trial.
