Filter by:NICE-RT study is a "safety run-in" and phase II trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of Camrelizumab combined with Nab-paclitaxel and Carboplatin and Radiotherapy in patients with resectable locally advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
The goal of this observational study is to learn about in describe treatment pattern and clinical outcomes in patients with HER2-overexpressed advanced solid tumors after progression of first-line standard therapy. The main questions it aims to answer are: - To evaluate the real-world safety and efficacy of Disitamab Vedotin in second-line and beyond treatment of advanced solid tumors with HER2 overexpression - To describe the treatment pattern and clinical outcomes of patients with advanced gastric cancer with HER2 overexpression in real world Settings after the failure of first-line standard therapy.
The aim of our study is to investigate changes of brain perfusion and elasticity in neonates during the time that a neonate is adapting to live outside the womb and during diseases that are suspected to affect neonatal brain perfusion. We use contrast enhanced ultrasound (sulphur hexafluoride) and ultrasound-assisted elastography to evaluate the state of brain perfusion. We will study neonates recruited from the Neonatal Units of Turku University Hospital.
This is a Phase II, open-label study designed to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and immunogenicity of NM8074 in PNH patients undergoing complement-inhibitor therapy with Soliris.
This is a Phase II, open-label study designed to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and immunogenicity of NM8074 administered intravenously to adult patients with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH).
This is a single center, prospective, single arm clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Envafolimab as a neoadjuvant therapy for resectable and locally advanced dMMR or MSI-H rectal cancer.
The goal of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of endovascular interventional surgery instrument control system (ALLVAS®robot)and supporting consumables for coronary artery interventional surgery. Participants will will complete coronary intervention surgery with the assistance of robot system(ALLVAS®robot), and evaluate the effect of the use effect of robots and clinical treatment after surgery
Persistent developmental stutter / childhood onset fluency disorder is a disabling condition leading to significant communication and psychological disability. Established treatment consists of intensive speech therapy, and whilst initially effective, has a waning long-term benefit. Our research team aims to provide evidence of stutter management by addressing the primary neurological issue in this disorder using Deep Brain Stimulation. The investigators propose to perform bilateral DBS on 3 participants with stutter refractory to intensive speech therapy, to determine a response in their stutter. The assessments will be double-blinded. The investigators will use the outcome of this small pilot study to determine the feasibility and details of a larger randomized controlled trial.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of an exercise program on the management of TIPN in breast cancer survivors. This experimental study utilizes purposive sampling to recruit 88 adults, newly diagnosed with stage I~III breast cancer women, who are expected to be treated with Taxane chemotherapy in a medical center located in central Taiwan. Participants will be randomly allocated to the experimental or observational group. The main outcomes are peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain. The 3~6 months home-based extremity exercise program will be intervened between newly diagnosed with breast cancer to the completion of chemotherapy. Participants have to perform a total of 50 minutes of exercise including the Ten Skilled Hand exercise fourth a day, 5 minutes each time and Buerger Allen exercise twice a day, 15 minutes each time. This study expects that the extremity exercise program will be able to prevent and manage peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain via increasing blood circulation. Moreover, the exercise program may also improve functioning and QOL in breast cancer survivors receiving Taxane chemotherapy.
The goal of this interventional clinical trial is to compare patients who undergo ECMO therapy for treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and a randomized into one of two possible weaning strategy groups. Group 1: Weaning from ventilator occurs before ECMO weaning. Group 2: Weaning from ECMO occurs before weaning from ventilator. This study investigates which one of these strategies is more indulgent for the lung, and leads to less inflammation and therefore less potential side effects and an overall more favourable clinical course. As a primary criterion, measure of IL-6 in blood samples will beused. As secondary criterions, SOFA score at various time points, ventilation pressures, lung injury score (LIS), length of stay in the intensive care unit, and ventilator-associated pneumonia as well as levels of inflammatory cells and cytokines in both blood samples and bronchoalveolar lavage at different time points will be determined.
