Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a common side effect in breast cancer patients with completion of chemotherapy, and that is characterized by associated clinical symptoms such as pain, tingling, numbness, and paresthesia etc. CIPN also interferes with patients' functions of daily living and leads to chronic functional decline and a reduced quality of life. Meridian yoga is beneficial to the treatment of patients with peripheral neuropathy and the improvement of their quality of life.

The goal of this open label randomised clinical trial is to compare Bivalirudin versus Heparin for anticoagulation in patients requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support. The main question it aims to answer are include the ability to maintain anticoagulation within defined therapeutic range, bleeding and thrombotic complications and a comparison of the total cost of anticoagulation care. Participants will be randomised to either anticoagulation with Bivalirudin or anticoagulation with Unfractionated Heparin.

The goal of this study is to better understand in changes in lung compliance as indicated by driving pressure (a non-invasive marker) following changes in positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP; a standard of care ventilator parameter). The main question it aims to answer is: The time to stability of driving pressure after a change in PEEP is made Type of study: observational study participant population/health conditions Participants will undergo a "best PEEP trial" which is a standard intensive care intervention for patients undergoing invasive mechanical ventilation. This involves changing the patient's PEEP and looking for response in driving pressure. This will be done in a more protocolized format and data will be collected.

Targeting Metastatic Breast Cancers by Alkaline Glucosodiene Molecules Via a Metabolic Pathway Phase I Clinical Trial

The diverse group of breast tumors known as triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) which is lethally and deadly type of breast cancer and insensitive to endocrine therapy and HER2-targeted therapy because it lacks the expression of estrogen, progesterone, and human epidermal growth factor receptors TNBC makes up almost 15% of all invasive breast cancers, and of all breast tumor subtypes, it has the worst overall survival and the highest rate of metastatic occurrence. Cytotoxic chemotherapy is the main established systemic therapy for early and advanced TNBC disease at the moment because there is no authorized targeted therapy. Despite the fact that chemotherapy greatly improves clinical outcomes for TNBC patients, recurrence rates are still high and TNBC cancers frequently develop chemotherapeutic drug resistance ). In light of the few available therapy choices, so few choices for this subtype of breast cancer, and many cases are resistant to chemotherapy and recurrent and with a risk of high metastasis from previous literature and many experimental studies, the target of glucose environment is a promising weapon against this deadly type of breast cancer so glucose deprivation from tumor cells may cut the glucose entry as fuel to these cancer cells so this study uses a substitute energy fuel by using alkaline glucosodiene which is chemically invented by Maher M.AKL

Lisdexamphetamine vs Methylphenidate for Pediatric Patients With ADHD and Type 1 Diabetes

This clinical trial aims to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an intervention involving parental training in behaviour management and medication in children with both Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity (ADHD). ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects around 5% of school-age children and adolescents, while T1D is a chronic disease requiring strict management. After initial parental training provided for parents/legal guardians, the children will be randomized to one of two cross-over groups, and treated with either lisdexamfetamine or methylphenidate first. After dose optimization for first 5-7 weeks, patients will be treated for 6 months total, after which they will be switched to the other drug. Researchers will then compare the ADHD symptom severity as measured by Conners 3 questionnaire, and compare the frequency of any adverse events associated with the therapy. As secondary outcomes, patient's T1D control and quality of life will be compared between the two drugs.

Mobile Behavioral Parent Training for Childhood ADHD: Pilot Trial

The goal of the study is to develop and pilot a personalized behavioral parent training intervention for caregivers of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The behavioral intervention will teach positive parenting through videos and quizzes that caregivers can access through a smartphone application. The program also gives parents and caregivers in-the-moment feedback their use of parenting strategies. The main questions to answer are: Is parenting feedback provided by a smartphone application acceptable to caregivers? Is the phone application usable and acceptable to parents and caregivers of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder? In the pilot trial, participants (parents/caregivers) will be randomly assigned to either (1) use the positive parenting intervention phone application (mobile Behavioral Parent Training: mBPT) or (2) use mBPT and receive brief, personalized phone prompts throughout their participation that target parenting behavior and intervention engagement.

Multidimensional Rehabilitation Programs for Cognitive Impairment in Comorbid Outpatients: a Randomized Controlled Trial

Dementias secondary to cerebrovascular diseases are of significant epidemiological and clinical relevance. As a result, the management of individuals with comorbid dementia should involve early diagnosis, effective treatment, and patient-centered care planning, both in specialist and in non-specialist settings. It is well known that physical exercise can improve various aspects of health, including resistance, balance, strength, and cognitive functions such as attention and executive performance. However, the efficacy of cognitive rehabilitation is still not definitive and requires further clarification. Preliminary evidence suggests that a combination of cognitive and motor training along with novel technological approaches has the potential to maintain or improve compromised cognitive function more effectively compared to a single intervention. A multidomain intervention could enhance cognitive functioning in elderly individuals with multiple morbidities. In the present study, patients with early neurocognitive impairment based on a vascular disorder or due to multiple etiologies, as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition, will be screened in an outpatient multidisciplinary setting and subsequently undergo different models of rehabilitation training. Primary aim of this study: - Assess the effectiveness of different rehabilitation protocols for improving cognitive functions in patients with comorbid cognitive impairment. Specifically, the investigators will test the effectiveness of three rehabilitation protocols (digital-based cognitive rehabilitation combined with motor rehabilitation, paper-based cognitive rehabilitation combined with motor rehabilitation, and motor rehabilitation alone) by means of a set of multidimensional outcome measures. Secondary aims: - evaluating the enhancement of cognitive performance using various cognitive questionnaires categorized by cognitive domains. Additionally, the investigators will examine multidimensional variables such as motor skills, mood and anxiety levels, quality of life, patient adherence to treatment, the role of communication in patient management, caregiver burden, and the usability of digital devices (when utilized).
