Based on the results of the Phase IIb dose-ranging study ALX0171-C201 (RESPIRE), the Sponsor decided to discontinue ALX-0171 development in infants and to early terminate the ALX0171-C203 study.
This trial is a prospective, randomized, single-center, open-label, parallel-arm, blinded-analysis trial, the objective of which is to evaluate the effect of transmuscular quadratus lumborum block (TMQLB) in the pain relief and quality of recovery in laparoscopic renal surgery compared with thoracic paravertebral block (TPVB).
This phase II trial studies how well computed tomography perfusion imaging works in predicting outcomes in patients with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer who are receiving bevacizumab. Computed tomography perfusion imaging monitors the effects of the drug treatment on the blood flow to the tumor, and may help to predict whether a certain drug therapy is likely be successful in a patient with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer.
The investigators will evaluate the effect of bispectral index-guided titration of sedation during ear surgery under monitored anesthesia care on participant's satisfaction with anesthesia, as well as side effects caused by the anesthetics.
The purpose of this study is to seek academic/non-industry research funding support to independently investigate the incidence and density of lens glistenings in cataract patients who are implanted with the latest generations of intraocular lenses (IOL) manufactured by Alcon and AMO Medical Optics.
This is an open label nonrandomized Phase I/ IIA trial designed to assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of apatinib in combination with pembrolizumab. Phase I will assess the safety of combining increasing oral daily doses of apatinib with a fixed dose of IV pembrolizumab every three weeks and will determine the RP2D (Recommended Phase 2 Dose). Phase II will assess the efficacy of the RP2D of apatinib in combination with pembrolizumab and provide additional safety and tolerability data in three disease-specific cohorts
The aim of this study is to determine the effects of fluid alternations, hemodynamic changes, mechanical ventilation, pharmacologic agents, positional changes, and comorbidities on the Peripheral Intravenous waveform Analysis (PIVA) signal.
Phase 3 multicenter study to be conducted in up to 90 qualified participating sites globally to assess the efficacy and safety of Reltecimod vs placebo in patients with sepsis-associated Stage 2/3 AKI.
The purpose of this clinical trial is to identify the highest dose of MEN1309 drug with acceptable safety profile and that can be used in patients affected by CD205-positive solid tumors and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
This study evaluates the surgeon and patient´s satisfaction who undergoes cataract surgery using either dexmedetomidine or remifentanil as sedation
