Knee ostheoarthritis (KOA) is a common disabling and degenerative disease leading to painful joints, articular stiffness, and decreased function. The mechanism of the ozone of relieving the pain and improving the knee function is through inhibiting the inflammation reaction in the KOA directly. Actually, the ozone intra-articular injection had been used to relieve the pain caused by KOA. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of intra-articular injection of medical ozone given into the knee of the osteoarthritis patients, and to compare it with intra-articular steroid injection and to investigate the effectiveness of ozone and steroid the job to determine the superiority of the injections to each other.
Only 4 randomized controlled clinical trials have been published to date to assess the short-term effectiveness of intra-articular Botulinum Toxin injection on pain, function and quality of life in patients suffering from chronic knee pain related or not to knee osteoarthritis and also in the context of ankle osteoarthritis. The analgesic properties and the reported safety make intra-articular Botulinum toxin a strong candidate in the treatment of symptomatic manifestations of osteoarthritis disease and more particularly in certain locations such as the trapezo-metacarpal joint. Investigators hypothesize that injection of intra-articular Botulinum toxin into the trapezo-metacarpal joint will be of benefit in reducing pain and improving function in patients with rhizarthrosis. Investigators will begin a monocentric randomized controlled trial comparing intra-articular injections of Botulinum toxin and placebo.
Thumb carpometacarpal (CMC) osteoarthritis (OA) is common, seen frequently in middle-aged and elderly women. While a variety of surgical treatments have been described with none superior to any other, there is no consensus on the optimal duration of postoperative immobilization. Immobilization following surgery is critical for wound healing, pain control, and aid with activities of daily living in the early recovery period, though the duration of this must be weighed against the negative impacts of immobilization, such as stiffness, contracture, and delay in return to full function. The information gained in this study may allow hand surgeons to use an evidence-based postoperative rehabilitation protocol. Thus, our goal is to compare varying durations of postoperative immobilization after thumb CMC arthroplasty in a randomized trial design. Subjects will be randomized to treatment with non-removable thumb spica plaster postoperative splint immobilization for 2 weeks or non-removable thumb spica plaster splint transitioned to cast for a total of 6 weeks immobilization following base of thumb arthroplasty. Patient-reported outcome measures (PROs) and objective metrics will be tracked in the follow-up period.

The study will evaluate the performance, clinical benefits and safety of the Persona Revision Knee System in patients who have received primary or revision total knee arthroplasty (TKA) treatment. This will be done using a multicenter, single-arm, consecutive series, retrospective cohort study with prospective follow-up.
Patients with degenerative joint disease can effectively be treated with a primary total knee replacement to reduce pain and improve function in their daily lives. Theoretically, achievement of normal knee motion using a medial pivot design in total knee replacements can be recreated in comparison to single radius designs, which could lead to an improvement in post-surgical outcomes and satisfaction with the procedure. The aim of this study is to compare two types of implant designs (medial pivot and single radius) in a total knee replacement using clinical outcomes, patient reported outcomes, and overall function assessed by a specialized gait laboratory.
