The overall objective of this study is to compare the effectiveness of two physiotherapy treatments, one based on the application of massage most current analgesic TENS compared to a second massage treatment based on more specific stretching techniques in subject in th social-health care setting with non-specific neck pain.
PURPOSE: To compare the effects of mckenzie exercises plus stabilization exercise to those of mckenzie exercises alone on disability, pain, range of motion (ROM) in patients with nonspecific chronic neck pain (NSCNP). BACKGROUND: Little is known about the efficacy of providing mckenzie exercises in addition to cervical and scapulothoracic stabilization exercises in people with NSCNP. HYPOTHESES We hypothesize that there will be no significant effect of adding stabilization exercises to mckenzie exercises than mckenzie exercises alone in patients with NSCNP. RESEARCH QUESTION: Is there a statistically significant effect of adding stabilization exercises to mckenzie exercises on outcomes of patients with NSCNP?
The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the effect of Muscle Energy Techniques on post dural puncture headache, neck pain and disability after Cesarean Section. .
The study will be randomized clinical trial. Total 40 subjects will be assigned randomly by using non probability convenient into two groups. Group A will be given McKenzie protocol, with conventional physiotherapy treatment while Group B is Rhythmic stabilization group who will receive rhythmic stabilization, with conventional physiotherapy. After confirmation of diagnosis with medical history and physical examination numeric pain rating scale (NPRS) and Neck disability index (NDI) would be used as an outcome measure tools for pain and disability respectively. Measure will be taken by goniometer. After data collection from defined study setting,data will be entered and analyzed at Riphah International University, Lahore.
The aim of this study is to compare the effects of virtual reality and cervical mobilization on proprioception, balance parameters, pain, disability level, quality of life and overall felt effect in individuals with chronic neck pain. Aim of the EndPaRL study is to compare the efficacy and effectiveness of the two techniques utilizing sharp straight conventional radiofrequency needle with a trident needle for radiofrequency neurotomy of Cervical Medial Branch Nerves (CMBNs), in patients presenting with chronic, moderate-to-severe, neck pain due to cervical zygapophyseal joint osteoarthritis, as diagnosed by positive responses to two consecutive diagnostic blocks with local anesthetic of the CMBN.
