This research study is evaluating the impact a collaborative palliative care and oncology team will have on end-of-life outcomes, quality of end-of-life care, and the quality of life, symptoms, and mood of patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) receiving non-intensive therapy
Multicenter, randomized, open-label, crossover PK study of ASTX727 versus IV decitabine. Adult subjects who are candidates to receive IV decitabine will be randomized 1:1 to receive the ASTX727 tablet Daily×5 in Cycle 1 followed by IV decitabine 20 mg/m^2 Daily×5 in Cycle 2, or the converse order. After completion of PK studies during the first 2 treatment cycles, subjects will continue to receive treatment with ASTX727 from Cycle 3 onward (in 28-day cycles) until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, or the subject discontinues treatment or withdraws from the study.
The objective of this study to evaluate the efficacy FG-4592 for the treatment of anemia in Chinese participants with lower risk MDS.
This study will evaluate pediatric patients with malignant or non-malignant blood cell disorders who are having a blood stem cell transplant depleted of T cell receptor (TCR) alfa and beta cells that comes from a partially matched family donor. The study will assess whether immune cells, called T cells, from the family donor, that are specially grown in the laboratory and given back to the patient along with the stem cell transplant can help the immune system recover faster after transplant. As a safety measure these T cells have been programmed with a self-destruct switch so that they can be destroyed if they start to react against tissues (graft versus host disease).
The study examines the application of expanded natural killer cells (NK cells) following haploidentical allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (haplo-HSCT) for AML or MDS. Haplo-HSCT is a preferred treatment option for patients with AML or MDS without a HLA-matched donor. With administration of cyclophosphamide post-transplant , the safety of the procedure is similar to a HSCT from a HLA-identical donor. Relapse of AML/MDS represents a serious problem following haplo-HSCT. NK cells are immune cells able to destroy tumor cells. Their potency has been established particularly in the setting of a haplo-HSCT. In the current study, study participants undergoing haplo-HSCT will receive expanded NK cells from their respective stem-cell donors following haplo-HSCT. The primary goal of the study is to establish the safety and feasibility of this approach. In addition, the activity of the NK cells will be examined.

This phase II trial studies how well topotecan hydrochloride and carboplatin with or without veliparib work in treating patients with myeloproliferative disorders that have spread to other places in the body and usually cannot be cured or controlled with treatment (advanced), and acute myeloid leukemia or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as topotecan hydrochloride and carboplatin, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Veliparib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving topotecan hydrochloride, carboplatin, and veliparib may work better in treating patients with myeloproliferative disorders and acute myeloid leukemia or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia compared to topotecan hydrochloride and carboplatin alone.
This is a single arm, open-label, Phase 1b study of pembrolizumab for patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) whose disease has relapsed after receiving allogeneic hematopoetic stem cell transplant.
