Post-market Follow up Study of the 'BPK-S Integration' UC as Primary Implant in the Variants CoCr or Ceramic

Prospective Post-Market Clinical Follow up study according to MEDDEV 2.12/2 rev2 of the European Union. Patients receiving the primary knee implant BPK-S UC as primary implant in either variant ceramic or CoCr (metal) are eligible for the study and will be followed up for 5 years after implantation or until revision of the prosthesis, whichever occurs first. Demographic data will be collected together with data regarding safety and benefit at defined timepoints (preoperative, intraoperative and at 3 months, 1 year, 2 years and 5 years after implantation). Patients will be divided in 2 cohorts (ceramic and metal) and stratified by age.

Effect of an Exercise Program Designed for Orchestral Musicians

This study is a randomized clinical trial evaluating the effect of an exercise program designed specifically for orchestral musicians on performance-related musculoskeletal problems (PRMPs). Professional and conservatory-level orchestral musicians will be recruited. Half of the subjects will participate in an 11-week home exercise program and attend three group exercise sessions and an educational presentation on injury prevention, while the other half of the subjects will receive no intervention, and continue their usual activities.

Electrical Stimulation for the Treatment of Pain Following Total Knee Arthroplasty Using the SPRINT Beta System

The purpose of this study is to determine if electrical stimulation (small levels of electricity) in addition to the standard of care can safely and effectively reduce pain following total knee replacement more than the standard of care, alone. This study involves a device called the SPRINT Beta System. The SPRINT Beta System delivers mild electrical stimulation to nerves in the leg that received the knee replacement. The SPRINT Beta System includes a small wire (called a "lead") that is placed through the skin in the upper leg. It also includes a device worn on the body that delivers stimulation (called the SPRINT Beta Stimulator). About half the subjects in this study will receive the SPRINT Beta system (treatment group) and half will not (control group). Both groups will receive the standard of care.

This study evaluates whether Fibromyalgia Integrative Training program for Teens (FIT Teens), a combined cognitive behavioral therapy and neuromuscular exercise training program is more effective in reducing disability in adolescents with Juvenile Fibromyalgia compared to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) alone or a graded aerobic exercise (GAE) program alone. One third of participants will receive the FIT Teens training; one third will receive CBT training; and one third of participants will receive the GAE training.
