NCT ID: NCT01494012 Terminated - Clinical trials for Recurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer

Phase I Stereotactic Body Radiation for Metastatic or Recurrent Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer

Start date: April 2012
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I trial studies the side effects and the best dose of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in treating patients with metastatic or recurrent ovarian cancer or primary peritoneal cancer. SBRT may be able to send x-rays directly to the tumor and cause less damage to normal tissue.

NCT ID: NCT00504257 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Avastin in Combination With Docetaxel in Ovarian/Fallopian Tube/Peritoneum Carcinoma

Start date: March 2007
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the combination of Avastin and Docetaxel in the treatment of women with platinum sensitive recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer within 12 months of platinum chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT00436501 Completed - Clinical trials for Fallopian Tube Cancer

VEGF Trap and Docetaxel in Treating Patients With Persistent or Recurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer, Primary Peritoneal Cancer, or Fallopian Tube Cancer

Start date: January 2007
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of VEGF Trap when given together with docetaxel and to see how well they work in treating patients with persistent or recurrent ovarian epithelial cancer, primary peritoneal cancer, or fallopian tube cancer. VEGF Trap may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking blood flow to the tumor. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as docetaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving VEGF Trap together with docetaxel may kill more tumor cells

NCT ID: NCT00189566 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Taxol® in Monotherapy or in Combination With Topotecan or Carboplatin in Patients With Epithelial Ovarian Cancer in Early Relapse

Start date: April 2004
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will look at the efficacy and safety of weekly administration of paclitaxel (Taxol®) in monotherapy compared to paclitaxel in combination with topotecan or carboplatin in patients with ovarian cancer in early relapse.

NCT ID: NCT00004909 Completed - Quality of Life Clinical Trials

Effect of Chemotherapy Given Either by Mouth or by Infusion on the Quality of Life of Patients With Recurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer

Start date: November 1999
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

RATIONALE: Quality-of-life assessment in patients undergoing cancer treatment may help determine the intermediate- and long-term effects of the treatment on these patients. PURPOSE: This clinical trial studies the effects of chemotherapy given by mouth versus chemotherapy given by infusion on quality of life in patients with recurrent ovarian epithelial cancer.
