Filter by:An open-label, multi-dose, single-arm, Phase 1 dose escalation study of XmAb®2513 was conducted to define the MTD or recommended dose(s) for further study, to determine safety and tolerability, to characterize PK and immunogenicity, and to evaluate antitumor activity of XmAb2513 in patients with HL and ALCL (non-cutaneous) and who have received two or more prior therapeutic regimens. There will be no intra-patient dose escalation.
Results to date of umbilical cord blood transplantation in adult and fully mature adolescent patients are inferior to what is seen in children, due to a lower stem cell dosage in adults and a more toxic conditioning regimen. This phase 1 protocol will use a potentially less toxic bone marrow conditioning regimen, followed by infusion of a combined umbilical cord blood graft that will provide the patient with a higher stem cell dose than can be given with a single umbilical cord blood infusion. The subjects will be conditioned with a total body irradiation (TBI) 13.5 Gy and fludarabine. Following conditioning, up to two unrelated, partially matched umbilical cord blood grafts will be infused that will provide a minimum nucleated cell dose of 3 x 10e7/kg . The primary objective of this study is to measure the frequency of treatment-related toxicity and engraftment.
This phase I/II trial is studying the side effects and best dose of vorinostat when given together with rituximab, ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide and to see how well they work in treating patients with relapsed or refractory lymphoma or previously untreated T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma or mantle cell lymphoma. Vorinostat may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, can block cancer growth in different ways. Some block the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Others find cancer cells and help kill them or carry cancer-killing substances to them. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as ifosfamide, carboplatin, and etoposide, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Giving vorinostat together with rituximab and combination chemotherapy may kill more cancer cells
This research study is being done because patients with a history of chest radiation treatment for Hodgkin's disease have been shown to be at increased risk for developing lung cancer a number of years out from treatment. The risk appears to be further increased among patients with a smoking history. Currently, the practice is to recommend annual low-dose chest CT scans in survivors of Hodgkin's disease who have received prior chest radiation treatment and who have at least a moderate smoking history. In this study, the CT scans will be read and interpreted by the study radiologist, and the results recorded in a consistent manner.
The purpose of this study is to collect information on the long-term side effects of treatment for Hodgkin Lymphoma. We hope to study about 500-800 survivors of Hodgkin Lymphoma. We plan to use the findings from this study to better understand Hodgkin Lymphoma survivors' health and quality of life.
This is a multicentric, non-randomized, non-controlled open-label phase II trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of treosulfan in a combination regimen with fludarabine as conditioning therapy prior to allogeneic stem cell transplantation (SCT) in patients with haematological malignancies. The aim is to demonstrate a clinical benefit compared with historical data on intravenous busulfan (BusulfexTM, BusilvexTM), the only drug so far registered in the indication conditioning before allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
The central hypothesis of this study is that use of a less toxic chemotherapy preparative regimen for allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in combination with T cell depletion with alemtuzumab for patients with high risk hematologic malignancies will allow effective control of disease and improved disease free and overall survival compared with historical expectations. Specifically, the objectives are to estimate toxicity, disease free, progression free, event free, and overall survival rates in patients treated with alemtuzumab T cell depleted, reduced intensity preparative regimen followed by allogeneic hematopoietic transplantation; evaluate immune recovery following this reduced intensity allogeneic immunotherapy; develop an in vitro assay to allow patient individualized targeted dosing.
The purpose of this study is to compare the effects (good and bad) of the medication basiliximab in combination with cyclosporine with cyclosporine alone for the prevention of graft-versus-host disease. This research is being done because there is no completely safe and effective prevention for graft-versus-host disease. It is known that cyclosporine helps with GVHD but we would like to know if the addition of basiliximab will decrease the incidence and/or severity of GVHD after a transplant known as nonmyeloablative ("mini" transplant).
Study Hypothesis: Clinical staging without laparotomy/splenectomy is adequate for children and young adults with Hodgkin's disease who receive chemotherapy as a component of treatment.
The objective of this study is to determine the incidence of complete and partial response and the duration of response in patients with recurrent or resistant Hodgkin's disease (HD) treated with sequential administration of oral 6-Thioguanin (6-TG) after IV Methotrexate (MTX).
