NCT ID: NCT02607735 Completed - Hepatitis C Clinical Trials

Safety and Efficacy of Sofosbuvir/Velpatasvir/Voxilaprevir in Adults With Chronic HCV Infection Who Have Previously Received Treatment With Direct-Acting Antiviral Therapy

POLARIS-1
Start date: November 11, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objectives of this study are to evaluate the safety and efficacy of treatment with sofosbuvir/velpatasvir/voxilaprevir (SOF/VEL/VOX) in adults with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection who have previously received treatment with direct-acting antiviral therapy. Participants randomized to placebo may be eligible for deferred treatment with active SOF/VEL/VOX.

NCT ID: NCT02605538 Withdrawn - Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Trials

Hepatitis B in Cystic Fibrosis and Latent Tuberculosis Respectively

Start date: September 1, 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

CF patients are at risk for hepatic disease. Vaccination is recommended to all CF patients according to European consensus. The aim of the study is to vaccinate as many patients as possible and to follow up whether immunization has been complete.

NCT ID: NCT02605304 Terminated - Hepatitis C Clinical Trials

12 Weeks of Ledipasvir (LDV)/Sofosbuvir (SOF) With Weight-based Ribavirin vs. 24 Weeks of LDV/SOF

Start date: February 17, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

People who are infected with Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) have a great chance of being cured of the infection when they are treated with sofosbuvir. However, in some instances, treatment with sofosbuvir-containing therapy does not work. It is not known if people respond to retreatment with sofosbuvir, after it did not work the first time. There is an important need to understand retreatment options in those instances. This clinical trial was done to study the response to two different regimens, ledipasvir/sofosbuvir and ledipasvir/sofosbuvir with ribavirin, and to see if they are safe and well-tolerated in HCV-infected persons whose previous treatment with sofosbuvir had failed.

NCT ID: NCT02605252 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Hepatitis B, Chronic

New Strategy Study of Functional Cure of Chronic Hepatitis B

Start date: March 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

As HBsAg clearance is uncommon in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients on nucleoside analogues (NAs) therapy. The purpose of this study is to optimize HBsAg clearance in CHB Patients with sequential treatment of pegylated interferon alpha-2b and NAs.

NCT ID: NCT02604823 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatitis B, Chronic

A Study of Peginterferon Alfa-2a (Pegasys) in Participants With Hepatitis B E-Antigen (HBeAg)-Positive Chronic Hepatitis B Virus (HBV)

Start date: November 2003
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

This is a study of the efficacy and safety of peginterferon alfa-2a (Pegasys) in naive, interferon- or lamivudine-pretreated participants with HBeAg-positive chronic HBV. Following 48 weeks treatment, there will be a 24 week period of treatment-free follow-up. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.

NCT ID: NCT02604355 Terminated - Clinical trials for Hepatitis B, Chronic

A Study to Investigate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of RO7020322 Following Oral Administration in Healthy Participants and Chronic Hepatitis B Patients

Start date: November 28, 2015
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a multiple-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single-ascending dose and multiple-ascending dose, adaptive parallel study to investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of RO7020322 following oral administration in healthy participants and chronic hepatitis B patients.

NCT ID: NCT02604212 Terminated - Hepatitis B Clinical Trials

A Multi-dose Study of ARC-520 in Patients With Hepatitis B 'e' Antigen (HBeAg) Positive, Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Infection

Start date: November 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Patients with HBeAG positive, chronic HBV infection will receive either ARC-520 or placebo in combination with entecavir or tenofovir, and be evaluated for safety and efficacy.

NCT ID: NCT02604199 Terminated - Hepatitis B Clinical Trials

A Multi-dose Study of ARC-520 in Patients With Hepatitis B 'e' Antigen (HBeAg) Negative, Chronic Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) Infection

Start date: September 2015
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Patients with chronic HBV infection will receive either ARC-520 or placebo in combination with entecavir or tenofovir, and be evaluated for safety and efficacy.

NCT ID: NCT02603055 Completed - Hepatitis E Clinical Trials

A Clinical Trial to Evaluate a Recombinant Hepatitis E Vaccine in Healthy Adults

Start date: July 2015
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Hepatitis E is characteristic by sporadic and local epidemic around the world, and mainly infects adults aged 15 to 40 years old, resulting in the infection rate ranged from 1% to 15%. The investigational hepatitis E vaccine is a recombinant aluminium-adjuvant hepatitis E vaccine. This is a single center, randomized, blinding, parallel-controlled phase Ib clinical trial. This study will determine the safety and immunogenicity of the investigational recombinant hepatitis E vaccine in healthy adults between 16 and 65 years.
