Start date: June 13, 2017
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the dosages of recombinant human serum albumin/interferon alpha2b fusion protein injection on HBV subjects. The secondary purposes is to get the PK/PD data in recombinant human serum albumin/interferon alpha2b fusion protein injection on HBV subjects.

NCT ID: NCT03293576 Completed - Hepatitis C Clinical Trials

A Self-efficAcy Intervention to reDuce Injecting Risk behAviour and hePatitis c reinfecTion Rates

ADAPT
Start date: February 22, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study evaluates the use of implementation intentions to increase self-efficacy and reduce injecting risk behaviour in a sample of injecting drug users on treatment for hepatitis C (HCV). The overall aim is to reduce HCV reinfection rates. The primary objective is to identify lower injecting risk behaviour scores in patients on treatment for hepatitis C receiving the psychosocial intervention compared to the same patient group assigned to the control group.

NCT ID: NCT03290755 Completed - Hepatitis c Clinical Trials

Sexual Hepatitis C in HIV Positive Men Who Have Sex With Men (MSM) in Bordeaux

HEPCSEX
Start date: November 8, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The main objective of this study is to analyse sexual behavior of HIV + MSM in Bordeaux, who have sexually contracted hepatitis C between January 1st 2013, to January 31, 2017. These data will bring some improvement about prevention and maybe reduced the hepatitis C incidence.

NCT ID: NCT03282474 Completed - Hepatitis E Clinical Trials

HepNet Pilot Trial: Multicenter Trial for the Treatment of Chronic Hepatitis E With Sofosbuvir (SofE)

Start date: December 7, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a single arm multicenter pilot study to provide preliminary evidence whether sofosbuvir (SOF) is efficacious and can be safely used in patients with chronic Hepatitis E virus infection.

NCT ID: NCT03268317 Not yet recruiting - Hepatitis C Clinical Trials

Neuropsychiatric Adverse Effects in Patients With Chronic Hepatitis C Treated by Direct Acting Antiviral Drugs

Start date: January 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Neuropsychiatric adverse effects of direct acting antiviral drugs, especially Sofosbuvir and Daclatasvir combination therapy (with or without ribavirin) in patients with chronic hepatitis C , genotype four (the predominant genotype in Egypt).

NCT ID: NCT03258710 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatitis B, Chronic

A Study of Switching From Entecavir to Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate in Subjects With Chronic Hepatitis B

Start date: October 2, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate is a nucleos(t)ide analogue that inhibits Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) growth, and is marketed in Japan with an indication for inhibition of HBV growth in subjects with chronic hepatitis B associated with HBV growth and abnormal liver function. This study has been planned to evaluate the virological effects and safety of switching from ETV to TDF in chronic hepatitis B (hepatitis B e-antigen [HBeAg])-positive and HBV- deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) undetectable subjects. This study is designed as a multi-center, one-arm, post-marketing clinical study to investigate the HBsAg reduction in subjects who have not achieved the long-term goal, the loss of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg). The study will be conducted in HBeAg-positive and HBV-DNA undetectable subjects treated with ETV. After switching ETV to TDF, TDF will be administered for 96 weeks. Approximately 80 subjects will be screened to achieve 65 evaluable subjects.

NCT ID: NCT03254901 Not yet recruiting - Hepatitis C Clinical Trials

Detection of Hepatitis C Infection by Oraquick Test Among Health Care Workers

Start date: January 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Viral hepatitis is a global health problem affecting hundred millions of people worldwide and considered the main cause of liver cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma and liver transplantation in developing countries.

NCT ID: NCT03254121 Completed - Clinical trials for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Genome Studies of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Developed in Hepatitis C Patients With Sustained Virological Response

HEPCASUS
Start date: January 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this international collaboration study, the research group will analyze somatic mutations of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) developed after sustained virological response (SVR) in patients treated with hepatitis C (HCV) therapy

NCT ID: NCT03253471 Terminated - Hepatitis C Clinical Trials

A First in Human Study of AL-611 in Healthy Volunteers and Patients With Hepatitis C Virus Infection

Start date: July 7, 2017
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 3-part study will assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and antiviral activity (Part 3 only) of orally administered AL-611 in healthy volunteers (HV; Parts 1-2) and subjects with CHC (Part 3). Part 1: HV will receive 1 of 5 single ascending doses (SAD) of AL-611 Part 2: Eight HV from Cohort 3 in Part 1 are planned to receive a second single dose of AL-611 or placebo (as per their randomized assignment in Part 1) in a fed state after a washout period Part 3: Subjects with CHC infection will receive 1 of 3 planned multiple ascending doses (MAD)

NCT ID: NCT03250910 Completed - Clinical trials for Human Immunodeficiency Virus

Generic VEL/SOF With or Without RBV for HIV/HCV Coinfected Patients

Start date: August 1, 2016
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Data are limited regarding the effectiveness and safety of generic velpatasvir plus sofosbuvir (VEL/SOF) with or without ribavirin (RBV) for the treatment of hepatitis C virus (HCV) in patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) coinfection. We aim to compare the effectiveness and safety of VEL/SOF with and without RBV for 12 weeks in HIV/HCV-coinfected and HCV-monoinfected patients The antiviral responses and the adverse events (AEs) are compare between the two groups. The characteristics potentially related to sustained virologic response 12 weeks off therapy (SVR12) are analyzed.
