NCT ID: NCT04914338 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hematopoietic and Lymphoid Cell Neoplasm

A Multidisciplinary Approach to Improve the Health of Older Adults With Blood Cancers After Stem Cell Transplantation

Start date: June 3, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial studies the usefulness and process of a multidisciplinary intervention, where patients see multiple healthcare professionals, aimed at improving fitness and the ability to bounce back after transplant for older adults with blood cancers planned for stem cell transplantation. Using a multidisciplinary team approach may increase patients' ability to withstand the transplant by optimizing health to better prepare patients for the expected complications after stem cell transplantation.

NCT ID: NCT04896580 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

IIT2020-20-SHIRAZIP-WALK: Nature Walks

Start date: June 21, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to examine whether nature-based activities provide benefits for breast cancer survivors. The investigators want to know whether a nature-based exercise program is feasible. Women who were diagnosed with breast cancer and have completed cancer treatment will be recruited for the main study. The main study will enroll up to 20 breast cancer subjects in total. This intervention will also include a sub-study examining the same outcomes among adolescents and young adult (AYA) subjects who were diagnosed with cancer (any type) and have completed cancer treatment. The sub-study will enroll up to 20 AYA (ages 18-39) subjects.

NCT ID: NCT04878822 Active, not recruiting - Covid-19 Clinical Trials

Immunogenicity of Covid-19 Vaccination for Patients With Hematological Malignancies

Start date: April 13, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Covid-19 is associated with a mortality rate of 33-37% in patients with hematological malignancies. At present, the anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination represents the most effective strategy for the prevention of Covid-19. Patients with malignancies were excluded from the trials leading to the approval of Comirnaty, Moderna, Vaxzevria and Janssen vaccines. The immunogenicity of these vaccines in immunocompromised patients or with hematological malignancies is an unmet clinical need. The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of vaccination in adult patients with hematological malignancies, who received vaccination according to Italian rules and were in treatment at the Hematology Unit of Varese, Italy Efficacy will be evaluated in terms of serological response, cellular-mediated immune response and prevention of Covid-19. The duration of the study will be 24 months.

NCT ID: NCT04865458 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Relapsed or Refractory B-cell Hematologic Malignancies

A Study to Evaluate the Tolerability, Safety, Pharmacokinetics of HEC89736 in Patients With Relapsed or Refractory B-cell Hematologic Malignancies

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy of HEC89736 in patients with Relapsed or Refractory B-cell Hematologic Malignancies

NCT ID: NCT04737785 Active, not recruiting - Infection Clinical Trials

Central Nervous System Disorders Following Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

Start date: January 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

All patients undergoing allogeneic or autologous HSCT at the participating centres will be observed. Once a diagnosis of CNS disorder is made, additional data will be reported for these patients. We will identify clinical and diagnostic characteristics such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and neuroimaging patterns, risk factors, response to treatment (including novel antifungal agents such as isavuconazole) and outcome. In addition, risk factors for CNS disorders after allogeneic and autologous HSCT will be analyzed using a prospectively assessed matched control group. In the future, this study might be the basis for an interventional trial (e.g. using a prophylactic approach).

NCT ID: NCT04696809 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hematologic Malignancies

A Study of Teclistamab in Japanese Participants With Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Start date: February 22, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability in Japanese participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) at the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) identified in Study 64007957MMY1001 (NCT03145181) in Phase 1 part and to evaluate the efficacy of teclistamab at RP2D for Japanese participants in Phase 2 part.

NCT ID: NCT04690205 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hematologic Malignancy

Hospital at Home at EOL in Heme Malignancies

Start date: February 26, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is evaluating an intervention, which the investigators call "Optimize End of Life (EOL) Care at Home," that entails remote patient monitoring and home-based supportive care for patients with advanced hematologic malignancies.
