Type | Measure | Description | Time frame | Safety issue |
---|---|---|---|---|
Primary | Cerebrovascular function | Utilize ultrasound to measure a change in blood flow velocity in response to a breathing test | Change in cerebrovascular function: measurements occur at baseline and 90 minutes post aerobic exercise to quantify magnitude of change. | |
Primary | Peripheral vascular function | Utilize ultrasound to measure a change in brachial artery diameter in response to reactive hyperemia | Change in peripheral vascular function: measurements occur at baseline and 60 minutes post aerobic exercise to quantify magnitude of change. |
