Filter by:This is a randomized, controlled trial designed for children who are have already developed atopic dermatitis (AD or eczema) by 12 weeks of age. The aim is to compare the effect of proactive sequential skin care, including the twice-daily use of a tri-lipid skin barrier cream (Epiceram) and proactive use of fluticasone propionate cream, against reactive AD therapy, to reduce the occurrence and severity of AD in early infancy and thereby prevent food allergy (FA).
The primary objective of the study is to assess the efficacy of REGN3500 monotherapy in Atopic dermatitis (AD), as well as understand the dose-response relationship, compared with placebo treatment, in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD. Secondary objectives are to: - Assess the safety and tolerability of subcutaneous (SC) doses of REGN3500 monotherapy in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD - Assess the Pharmacokinetics (PK) of REGN3500 in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD - Assess the immunogenicity of REGN3500 in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD
This study will evaluate upadacitinib compared to dupilumab (Dupixent®) in adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) who are candidates for systemic therapy.
This investigation is designed as a prospective, non-randomised, single arm clinical investigation. Data is collected from approximately 120 evaluable subjects, divided into three groups of approximately 40 subjects; infants (0-36 months old), children (3-18 years old) and adults (>18 years old), with the following indications: eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. Each subject will be followed during 4 weeks treatment, with a visit at baseline (visit 1), at 2 weeks (visit 2) and at 4 weeks (visit 3) treatment.
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of REGN3500 monotherapy compared with placebo treatment in adult patients with moderate-to-severe Atopic dermatitis (AD). Secondary Objectives are to: - Evaluate the efficacy of REGN3500 in combination with dupilumab compared with placebo treatment in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD - Assess the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of subcutaneous (SC) doses of REGN3500 monotherapy and REGN3500 in combination with dupilumab in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD - Evaluate the Pharmacokinetic (PK) of REGN3500 monotherapy and REGN3500 in combination with dupilumab in adult patients with moderate-to-severe AD
Eczema is a chronic disease that requires long term and extensive treatment. However patient adherence to the treatment plans provided to them by their healthcare providers is poor. Frequent follow-up appointments have been demonstrated to improve treatment adherence, this may be due to patients feeling a sense of accountability which motivates them to adhere to their treatment. However, although frequent follow-up appointments are effective, they are not feasible. The goal of the Eczema Reminder and Accountability Program (ERAP) is to assess the effectiveness of a patient reminder system on patient adherence to treatment and the outcome of eczema. Participants will receive weekly/biweekly text messages that encourage them to adhere to their treatment plan, and asks them to assess the severity of their eczema and adherence to treatment for that week using questionnaires. Participants are then asked to send the completed questionnaires to Hamilton Allergy. Should the ERAP improve eczema outcome and treatment adherence, the goal is to use the ERAP as a virtual follow-up to reduce the need for frequent in-office follow-ups.
Evelo will investigate the safety and tolerability of EDP1815 and its potential to be a medicinal product in healthy volunteers and individuals with mild to moderate psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of baricitinib in combination with topical corticosteroids (TCS) in participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.
Randomized double-blind/placebo study to evaluate the efficacy of ASN002 in subjects with severe chronic hand eczema.
This is a double-blind, multi-centre, randomised, 5-arm, vehicle-controlled, parallel-group trial. The trial is designed to establish a dose-response signal and investigate the efficacy and safety of delgocitinib cream in the treatment of adult subjects with mild to severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
