NCT ID: NCT04772885 Completed - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

A Single and Multiple Ascending Dose Trial of KT-474 in Healthy Adult Volunteers and Patients With Atopic Dermatitis (AD) or Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS)

Start date: February 23, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

KT-474 is an oral heterobifunctional small molecule IRAK4 degrader being developed for the treatment of interleukin-1 receptor (IL-1R)/toll-like receptor (TLR)-driven immune-inflammatory diseases. This first-in-human (FIH) study will characterize the safety, tolerability and the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) of a single ascending dose and multiple ascending doses of KT-474 in healthy volunteers and patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) or hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). The effects of food on the absorption of KT-474 will also be evaluated in healthy volunteers.

NCT ID: NCT04772482 Completed - Dermatitis Clinical Trials

Study on Hypoallergenic Hair Dye

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Permanent hair dyes are commonly used in over the counter direct to consumer products and within hair salons. Allergy, also known as contact dermatitis, to hair dye is a well known phenomenon. Herein, we seek to decrease the risks of allergy to hair dyes by testing a novel version of p-phenylenediamine (PPD) with less allergy potential.

NCT ID: NCT04771910 Recruiting - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

Study of the Skin Microbiome and the Potential of a Topical Probiotic Cream for Atopic Dermatitis

Start date: January 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The skin microbiome of atopic dermatitis patients and healthy volunteers will be studies by collecting and analysing skin swabs on different timepoint. Additional, effort will be made to isolate and characterize Lactobacillus spp. and other beneficial micro-organisms on the skin. Second aim of this study is to evaluate a topical probiotic cream in atopic dermatitis treatment. A double-blind placebo-controlled intervention study will be performed in parallel with the skin microbiome analysis. Both clinical effect on the symptoms of atopic dermatitis and effect on the skin microbiome and survival of beneficial bacteria on the skin will be evaluated.

NCT ID: NCT04764682 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Determining Molecular Drivers of Radiation Dermatitis

Start date: February 21, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is being conducted to address key gaps in current knowledge and set the stage for rational design of strategies to prevent (pre-exposure to radiation), mitigate (post-exposure to radiation before overt signs/symptoms appear), and/or treat (post-onset of signs/symptoms) radiation dermatitis (itchy, dry skin or a rash on swollen, reddened skin).

NCT ID: NCT04763512 Recruiting - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

Clinical Study of Partially Hydrolysed Protein Infant Formula on Trans-epidermal Water Loss (TEWL)

Start date: June 6, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a single-centre, prospective, randomized, open-label, controlled trial of 200 infants 42±7 days of age. Subjects will be randomized to one of two open label feeding intervention group: - Intact Cow's Milk Protein Formula Group (CMFG) (n = 100) or - Partially Hydrolysed Whey Formula Group (pHFG) (n = 100).

NCT ID: NCT04761978 Enrolling by invitation - Dermatitis, Atopic Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Tolerance of JAK Inhibitors in ATU for Atopic Dermatitis

JAKIGREAT
Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim is to assess effectiveness (EASI, SCORAD, IGA, DLQI, pruritus, sleep loss) and safety (clinical and biological adverse events) of JAK inhibitors in adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in a real-life French multicenter retrospective cohort

NCT ID: NCT04760314 Completed - Dermatitis, Atopic Clinical Trials

A Study of Lebrikizumab (LY3650150) in Combination With Topical Corticosteroids in Japanese Participants With Moderate-to-Severe Atopic Dermatitis

ADhere-J
Start date: March 10, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of lebrikizumab in combination with a topical corticosteroids in Japanese participants with atopic dermatitis.

NCT ID: NCT04753034 Completed - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

Study of TER-101 Topical Ointment in Subjects With Atopic Dermatitis

Start date: January 18, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This Phase 2 study will assess efficacy, safety, and tolerability of TER-101 ointment and vehicle twice daily for 28 days in adult and adolescent subjects with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.

NCT ID: NCT04750161 Recruiting - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

The Role Of Neutrophil Proteases As Global Regulators Of Il-1 Family Cytokine Activity In Skin Disorders

NEUTROPRO
Start date: March 2, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Pro-inflammatory cytokines are critically important drivers of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases and cytokine-targeted biologics have been transformative in the treatment of several inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. As the diversity of approved cytokine-targeted biologic therapies grows, it will become increasingly important to stratify patients on the basis of specific genetic or disease biomarker phenotypes to ensure that patients receive the appropriate cytokine-targeted biologic, at the appropriate dose, and at the appropriate time. This project aims to explore patterns of pro-inflammatory cytokine/chemokine expression within normal versus (i) psoriatic, (ii) eczematic, (iii) ichthyotic human skin, as well as in human and mouse models of skin inflammation, with the objective of identifying cytokine response profiles ('cytokine fingerprints') that will provide a molecular basis for (a) the stratification of patients into disease subtypes that (b) enable cytokine-directed biologics to be targeted towards patients that are most likely to benefit from them. The investigators anticipate that 'cytokine fingerprinting' will aid in the selection of the most appropriate biologics in patients that are most likely to benefit from such therapies.

NCT ID: NCT04740892 Completed - Dermatitis, Atopic Clinical Trials

A Study of a Moisturizing Cream and Baby Wash in the Management of Mild to Moderate Atopic Dermatitis in Infants, Toddlers and Children

Start date: January 21, 2021
