Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, single arm, Phase 2 study evaluating the efficacy and safety of avapritinib (BLU-285) in patients with advanced systemic mastocytosis (AdvSM), including patients with aggressive SM (ASM), SM with associated hematologic neoplasm (SM-AHN), and mast cell leukemia (MCL)

NCT ID: NCT03580629 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for End Stage Liver Disease

Pilot Study of the Liver Live Donor Champion Program

LLDC
Start date: September 18, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this pilot study, investigators plan to enroll liver transplant candidates and a "Live Donor Champion" for an abridged two- or three-month program that provides education and advocacy training in order to expand access to live donor liver transplantation. Investigators have created two versions of the same program and based on feedback from participants and staff, investigators aim to analyze the efficacy of the Liver Liver Donor Champion program on this patient population.

NCT ID: NCT03580499 Active, not recruiting - Hot Flashes Clinical Trials

Vitamin B6 in Reducing Hot Flashes in Participants With Prostate Cancer Undergoing Antiandrogen Therapy

Start date: September 13, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This pilot phase II trial studies how well vitamin B6 works in reducing hot flashes in participants with prostate cancer undergoing antiandrogen therapy. A nutritional supplement such as vitamin B6 may help improve hot flashes caused by antiandrogen therapy in participants with prostate cancer.

NCT ID: NCT03580343 Active, not recruiting - Uveitis Clinical Trials

Tofacitinib for Inflammatory Eye Disease

Start date: April 4, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Non-infectious inflammatory eye disease, such as uveitis and scleritis, is a chronic, auto-immune process that leads to vision loss. While steroids are effective in the short term, the side-effect profile of chronic steroid use necessitates the identification of effective steroid-sparing therapies. Tofacitinib is a small molecule that inhibits the signaling pathways of multiple inflammatory cytokines. The investigators plan to evaluate whether tofacitinib may have efficacy for patients with uveitis and / or scleritis.

NCT ID: NCT03580083 Active, not recruiting - Hurler Syndrome Clinical Trials

RGX-111 Gene Therapy in Patients With MPS I

Start date: April 3, 2019
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

RGX-111 is a gene therapy which is intended to deliver a functional copy of the α-L-iduronidase (IDUA) gene to the central nervous system. This is a safety and dose ranging study to determine whether RGX-111 is safe and tolerated by patients with MPS I.

NCT ID: NCT03579901 Active, not recruiting - Breast Implants Clinical Trials

NCT ID: NCT03579771 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage III Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma AJCC v8

Gemcitabine, Cisplatin, and Nab-Paclitaxel Before Surgery in Patients With High-Risk Liver Bile Duct Cancer

Start date: September 26, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well gemcitabine, cisplatin, and nab-paclitaxel work before surgery in treating participants with high-risk bile duct cancer in the liver (intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma). Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as nab-paclitaxel, cisplatin, and gemcitabine, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving combination chemotherapy before surgery may make the tumor smaller and reduce the amount of normal tissue that needs to be removed.

NCT ID: NCT03579446 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Malignant Solid Neoplasm

Levorphanol as a Second Line Opioid in Reducing Pain in Patients With Cancer

Start date: November 29, 2018
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This early phase I trial studies how well levorphanol works as a second line opioid in reducing pain in patients with cancer that may have spread to other places in the body. Levorphanol may work better in controlling cancer pain.
