There are about 2500 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Ukraine. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Nowadays, the proportion of patients with locally advanced gastric cancer is estimated up to 90 percent of all gastric cancer cases in Russian Federation. Surgical procedure with D2 Lymphadenectomy is the main option for treatment. Conventional open approach is still the current standard for advanced gastric cancer. Laparoscopic procedures for gastric cancer as minimally invasive surgery has gained popularity for the treatment of early gastric cancer in East Asia. Several studies indicated that laparoscopic procedures both total and subtotal gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy is a technically feasible and safe procedure by experienced surgeons in high-volume specialized hospitals. However, lack of solid evidence on the oncologic efficacy. Starting clinical trials for evaluate safety of oncology laparoscopic subtotal gastrectomy for locally advanced gastric cancer. Aim of this trial is show safety, feasibility and oncologic efficacy of Laparoscopic radical surgical procedures both total and subtotal gastrectomy for treatment gastric cancer.
To evaluate and to compare the effectiveness of CA-125 and HE4 serum levels in epithelial ovarian cancer (OC) in follow-up in terms of time to detection of elevation after the end of the first line treatment. To evaluate the lead-time of the rise of marker levels before epithelial OC recurrence diagnosis by Computed tomography (CT) imaging method. To evaluate the appropriate HE4 cut-off value for follow-up of patients after the treatment of ovarian, Fallopian tube and primary peritoneal cancer.
This trial is conducted globally. The aim of the trial is to investigate efficacy and safety of once-weekly NNC0195-0092 (somapacitan) treatment compared to daily growth hormone treatment (Norditropin® FlexPro®) in growth hormone treatment naïve pre-pubertal children with growth hormone deficiency. The trial consists of a 26 week main trial period, followed by a 26 week extension trial period, a 104 week safety extension period, a 208 week longterm safety extension trial period and a 30 day follow up period. Participants receive NNC0195-0092 (somapacitan) (0.04 mg/kg/week) during the main trial and the extension period and thereafter NNC0195-0092 (somapacitan) (0.16 mg/kg/week) during the safety extension and the long-term safety extension periods. Two additional age groups, cohort II (age below 2 years and 26 weeks at screening) and cohort III (above 9 years (girls)/ above 10 years (boys) and equal to or below 17 years at screening) are included in the 208 week long-term safety extension trial period only.
The purpose of this study is to allow evaluation of long-term clinical effect and safety outcome of treatment with AP-CD/LD, as well as to allow patients to benefit from extended treatment duration with AP-CD/LD after they have successfully completed the Phase 3 core study IN 11 004 ('core study', a phase III, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, active-controlled Phase 3 study to assess the safety and efficacy of AP CD/LD versus IR CD/LD in fluctuating PD patients).
This is a Long-term Access Programme (LAP) which aims to support provision of mepolizumab, until it is commercially available, to eligible subjects with severe asthma who participated in a GSK-sponsored mepolizumab clinical study 200862 and 200363. Eligible subjects will initiate mepolizumab within a 6-month period following the individual subject's last scheduled visit in their preceding clinical study. For each subject benefit versus risk will be assessed throughout the study to support continued treatment with mepolizumab.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (explores what the body does to the drug), and anti-mycobacterial activity of bedaquiline (TMC207) in children and adolescents (0 months to less than [<] 18 years of age) diagnosed with confirmed or probable pulmonary multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB), in combination With a Background Regimen (BR) of MDR-TB Medications.
The great diversity of regimens and treatment lines, the different efficacy of these, mostly due to the increase in bacterial antibiotic resistance and regional differences, requires a continuous critical analysis of clinical practice, evaluating systematically the efficacy and safety of the different regimens and the cost-effectiveness of the different diagnostic-therapeutic strategies. This will help in the design of an efficient and optimized treatment that will reduce number of re-treatments, diagnostic tests and the appearance of associated pathologies such as peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding and, probably, gastric cancers. Therefore, the evaluation of real clinical practice using non-interventionist registries will help to improve the design and organization of European Consensus on the management of H. pylori infection, which is the best way to establish healthcare efficiency. Primary aim To obtain a database registering systematically over a year a large and representative sample of routine clinical practice of European gastroenterologists in order to produce descriptive studies of the management of H. pylori infection. Secondary aims 1. To evaluate H. pylori infection consensus and clinical guidelines implementation in different countries. 2. To perform studies focused on epidemiology, efficacy and safety of the commonly used treatments to eradicate H. pylori. 3. To evaluate accessibility to healthcare technologies and drugs used in the management of H. pylori infection. 4. To allow the development of partial and specific analysis by the participating researchers after approval by the Registry's Scientific Committee Methodology Non-interventionist prospective multicentre international registry promoted by the European Helicobacter Study Group. A renowned gastroenterologist from each country was selected as Local Coordinator (30 countries). They will in turn select up to ten gastroenterologists per country that will register the routine clinical practice consultations they receive over 10 years in an electronic Case Report Form (e-CRF). Variables retrieved will include clinical, diagnostic, treatment, eradication confirmation and outcome data. The database will allow researchers to perform specific subanalysis after approval by the Scientific Committee of the study.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of fingolimod vs. interferon beta-1a i.m. in pediatric patients with multiple sclerosis (MS)
The primary objective of the study is to compare overall survival of patients randomized to receiving custirsen in combination with docetaxel (Arm A) with patients randomized to receive docetaxel alone (Arm B).
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, efficacy and pharmacokinetics of GreenGene⢠F in subjects with severe hemophilia A previously treated (> 150 exposure days) with a Factor VIII concentrate and without presence or history of inhibitors to FVIII (Factor VIII).
