There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Various types and classes of uterine malformations have been identified and the ESHRE / ESGE classification system has recently been published on female genital system anomalies. Postoperative positive pregnancy results were obtained in studies conducted in patients with infertility, recurrent implantation failure, and recurrent pregnancy loss, which were not previously described in T-shaped uterine anomalies. Considering the increase in endometrial gland and vascularity after the surgical procedure performed in these patients, our primary goal in our study is to compare the number of implantation markers (αVβ3 integrin) and subepithelial glands in the specimen biopsies taken from the lateral walls of the endometrium before and after hysteroscopic surgery in patients with class U1a anomalies.
In December 2019, a highly infectious disease caused by a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) emerged in Wuhan, China. On March 11th 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic. Facing this critical situation, health care workers on the front line are at risk of developing psychological distress and other mental health symptoms. Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians works both in specialty outpateint/inpatient clinic and pandemic outpatient/inpatient clinics during the outbreak. Accordingly, PM&R physicians are expected to be mentally affected by COVID-19 pandemic. In this study we aimed to evaluate mental health status of PM&R physicians and related factors during COVID-19 pandemic. This study is a cross-sectional survey which is conducted on an online platform. Demographic data, working conditions of PM&R physicians and factors that may be related to mental health status is questioned in the survey. The Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale - 21 (DASS-21) is used to measure the emotional states of depression, anxiety and stress. The Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) is used to assess the severity of both nighttime and daytime components of insomnia.
In our study, we aimed to evaluate and compare the effects of low-intensity aerobic exercise training with blood flow restriction and without blood flow restriction, on pain, functional status, quality of life and catecholamine metabolite levels in 24-hour urine in adults with Fibromyalgia.
Total hip arthroplasty (THA) has been successful in relieving pain and restoring function in patients with advanced arthritis of the hip joint. Increased focus on earlier recovery and decreased postoperative pain has improved overall satisfaction. However, there is still a gap between the clinical scores in objective surveys and patient satisfaction. Direct anterior approach total hip arthroplasty has a low dislocation rate, abductor strength restoration, acceleration, and cosmetic advantages. In this method, capsulotomy with repair or capsulectomy is applied as the preferences of surgeons. Therefore, this can cause both a decrease in hip flexion strength and a loss in knee extension strength. Our aim in this study is to reveal how much muscle loss was caused by comparing both methods with the intact side.
This study aimed to investigate the effect of music listening during the preoperative and postoperative stages in patients undergoing retrograde intrarenal surgery(RIRS) on basic life findings, anxiety, pain, and the amount of analgesic used. This is a randomized controlled experimental study. The study was conducted with two groups: the intervention group (n=30) and control group (n=30). The control group received standard care. In contrast, the intervention group, in addition to standard care, was listened to the music by the researchers for 15 minutes one hour before their surgery.
Comparison of casting and bracing for the treatment of idiopathic early onset scoliosis
Neurological-developmental evaluations and developmental outcomes-diagnoses of premature babies are evaluated according to corrected postnatal age. Based on the limited evidence available, it can be concluded that complementary feeding may be an appropriate age for most premature babies who have reached at least the third month, generally corrected. However, for premature babies born at different gestational weeks, these periods have a relatively different meaning. A more accurate timeframe can be found in terms of complementary nutrition by evaluating chronological age and motor development together. More prospective observational studies are needed in this regard in premature babies. In the literature, there are not enough studies on the transition time to the most appropriate complementary diet for premature babies. The investigators planned to do this prospective observational study. In this study, patient groups will be randomly selected after appropriate matching. Premature babies participating in the study will be handled in three main groups (six subgroups in total). The data will be added to the case report forms. In addition to routine follow-ups, families will be called on the phone monthly, information about their babies' nutrition will be asked, whether there is a problem, questions of families will be answered, and information about complementary nutrition will be provided. At the end of the study, all data will be collected and entered into the SPSS database, which will be created.
To determine the effect of using mask during exercise on exercise capacity and values measured before exercise (heart rate, blood pressure, peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2), fatigue, severity of dyspnea, etc.). To investigate the haemodynamic effects (heart rate, blood pressure, peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2), fatigue, dyspnea severity, etc.) of the mask, which entered daily life during the epidemic period and which requires long-term use, and examine the effect on hemodynamic stress.
Lateral epicondylitis is an overuse syndrome of the forearm, which is associated with pain and sensitivity in the lateral elbow region. The aim of the study was to find out about is there any difference between the effects of traditional orthotic devices and adhesive taping, in the management of lateral epicondylitis. Therefore, the forearm counterforce brace, which was widely used in daily clinical practice for lateral epicondylitis, was compared with kinesio tape, a new technique of adhesive taping which has become increasingly popular. The study investigated and compared the effects of the two interventions (the forearm counterforce brace and kinesio tape) on pain severity, functional status and disability of patients with lateral epicondylitis.
The purpose of the study is to determine if the combination of niraparib with Abiraterone Acetate (AA) plus prednisone compared with AA plus prednisone in participants with deleterious germline or somatic Homologous Recombination Repair (HRR) gene-mutated Metastatic Castration-Sensitive Prostate Cancer (mCSPC) provides superior efficacy in improving radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS).
