There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the factors affecting the ability and willingness of dentists to work during the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect of this situation on occupational burnout. A 51-question survey, including demographic and pandemic questions and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), was used as a data collection method and administered to dentists in Turkey via the internet in two stages. A link to the survey (onlineanketler.com) was sent to the participants by e-mail or social media (WhatsApp©). A total of 706 participants were included in the study. The second stage of the survey only applied to dentists who are assigned within the scope of COVID-19 measures in Turkey.
Obstetric brachial plexus injury is the flask paralysis of the arm, which emerges from a difficult birth. This results from the damage to the nerves from the C5 cervical root to T1. Following brachial plexus injury, movement impairment, a decrease in the joint range of motion, muscle contractures, motor disorders related to muscle weakness, and the loss of functional movements are commonly observed. Many rehabilitation programs for the upper extremity aim at developing functional improvement in addition to increasing the active range of motion of the related limb in children with Obstetric brachial plexus injury. Obstetric brachial plexus injury treatment includes both conservative and surgical interventions. The first intervention in all the Obstetric brachial plexus injury cases is conservative. In recent years, supporting the treatment with virtual reality exercises in addition to the conventional brachial plexus rehabilitation is a method being tested. The use of virtual reality treatment in physiotherapy and rehabilitation has substantially increased within the last 6-7 years. Virtual reality is a method that enables working with task-based techniques by creating stimulating and entertaining environments and especially using children's interest and motivation. Nintendo Wii, which is used in the virtual reality treatment, is a device that can be controlled wirelessly, consists of a system console, remote control for activity control, and a sensor perceiving the change in movements, and a display screen, and gives the opportunity to work with the person individually. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the conventional physiotherapy approach and virtual reality applications with Nintendo Wii, applied additionally in this study, on upper extremity functions in children with obstetric brachial plexus injury. They can directly be mentioned as the effects on muscle strength, normal joint range of motion, and functionality.
Aim of present study is investigating the acute effects of passive joint mobilization on pain perception and range of motion. Study protocol includes passive joint mobilization application to study group with neck pain and blood sample collection of study and healthy control group.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of derazantinib monotherapy or derazantinib in combination with paclitaxel and ramucirumab in patients with gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC) i.e. with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative adenocarcinoma of the stomach or gastro-esophageal junction harboring fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2) genetic aberrations (GA).
The aim is to measure anxiety level and burnout frequency of healthcare workers including attending physicians, residents and nurses working at intensive care unit during COVID-19 pandemic. The study protocol had consisted of three parts. The first part was related to demographic details including age, sex, marital status, working position, past medical history. The second part of the survey was validated Turkish form of Beck anxiety inventory (BAI) It has 21 questions. Every question is a somatic symptom of anxiety. Participants scored them regarding how this symptom bothered them past week. Items have four possible answers: not at all (0 point), mildly (1 point), moderate (2 point), severe (3 point). Total anxiety score can be between 0 and 63. Participants were categorized as no or mild anxiety if the total beck anxiety score was between 0-16, and moderate to severe anxiety if it was more than 16 The last part of the survey was validated Turkish form of Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to evaluate components of BOS
The study will compare the efficacy and safety of entrectinib with crizotinib in participants with advanced or metastatic ROS1 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The participants will self-administer oral entrectinib or crizotinib as described in the protocol and local prescribing information. Treatments will continue until progressive disease, unacceptable toxicity, death, or withdrawal from the study, whichever occurs first.
In this study ; Two randomized groups will be created. Iv magnesium will be given to one of the blindly designated groups. The other group will be given only isotonic. All patients will be awakened after the analgesic agents (0,1mg / kg morphine, 15mg / kg paracetamol, nsaid) are used in routine practice and will be followed up for intensive care. The use of PCA (patient controlled analgesia) device is available in both groups. In post-operative period, magnesium infusion will be continued for 12 h. Only 100cc isotonic will be given without using magnesium to the other group. VAS (visual analog scale) score will be recorded at postoperative 30. minutes and 2,6,12,18,24 hours. In routine administration, the patient should be given 2 mg of morphine if vas>4 and the maximum dose will be increased to 10 mg.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of serum soluble L1CAM (sL1CAM) on the diagnosis and prognosis of endometrial cancer. This prospective randomized controlled trial will be conducted in patients who have undergone endometrial biopsy and whose pathology results are reported as benign endometrial changes, endometrial hyperplasia, or endometrial cancer. The sL1CAM level between groups will be compared. The relationship between prognostic factors and serum sL1CAM will be evaluated in patients with endometrial cancer.
Turkey is the second fastest aging country in the world. According to the Turkey Statistical Institute's data, the distribution of the population aged 65 and over is expected to be 25.6% in 2080. Today, studies have been started to determine the empathy and attitudes of the young generation, especially the younger generation, towards older individuals and to develop them. In this context, it is thought that the simulation designed to simulate the aging process of human beings may have a positive effect on students' understanding of aging and perception of aging. In this study, the effect of aged simulation suit on empathy and attitudes towards elderly people will be determined in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation undergraduate students.
A Phase 3, randomized, blinded study comparing pelabresib (CPI-0610) and ruxolitinib with placebo and ruxolitinib in myelofibrosis (MF) patients that have not been previously treated with Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi). Pelabresib is a small molecule inhibitor of bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) proteins.
