This project is designed to determine the experiences of nurses working in healthcare organizations in the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic and their approaches to problems experienced in qualitative design and from these results, a web-based education model is prepared for the effective management of nursing services, to increase the knowledge and skills of manager nurses. It was carried out in a quasi-experimental design. In the qualitative phase of the study, 28 people nurses were included (14 manager nurses and 14 nurses), and 61 nurse managers, including 30 intervention and 31 control group, participated in the randomized controlled quasi-experimental quantitative phase. Qualitative data were analyzed using the "Interview Form" through an in-depth interview method; Experimental data were collected via a pre- and post-questionnaire from nine web-based training videos. Qualitative data were analyzed in the MAXQDA 2020 program, and experimental data were analyzed in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 21.0 package program. Findings obtained from the qualitative stage; The problems regarding the institution's general management, the problems and approaches experienced by the nurses, and the problems and approaches experienced by the manager nurses were evaluated under three main themes. A pre-test / post-test questionnaire was applied to the intervention and control groups created due to the analysis of qualitative data.
The Department of Organ Transplantation in Memorial Hospitals has started Pediatric Liver Transplantation Program in 2016. As of the end of 2020, we have performed 169 pediatric liver transplantation. The aim of this study is to investigate the overall mortality, morbidity and risk factors for adverse outcomes in pediatric liver transplantation. The patients' records will be retrospectively scanned and the data will be gathered.
Background: Circumcision is one of the most common surgical interventions in boys, and boys undergoing this procedure experience anxiety and fear during the preoperative period. In addition, postoperative pain in children is reported to be associated with anxiety and fear. Aim: This study aimed to examine the effects of using a virtual reality (VR) application before circumcision on the pre- and postoperative anxiety and fear levels and postoperative pain symptoms in children. Material and Methods: This randomized controlled experimental study included 5-to 10-year-old boys referred to a pediatric hospital for circumcision between June and September 2019. Randomization was performed using the randomized block design, and the subjects were divided into control (n = 38) and experimental (n = 40) groups. The data were collected using a participant information form, the children's fear scale (CFS), the children's anxiety meter scale (CAM-S), and the Wong-Baker Faces Pain Rating Scale; data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 package program. The data were evaluated using descriptive statistics; the chi-square test was used to assess the sociodemographic data, the Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare two independent groups, the Wilcoxon T-test was used to compare intra-group preoperative and postoperative values, and the Spearman Correlation test was used to examine the relationship between anxiety, fear and pain scores. Background: Paticipants undergoing cataract surgery find postoperative medication management difficult and are anxious about this issue. Differences in the number of medications and frequency of administration can be lead to confusion in participants. Aims and objectives: The aim of this randomized-controlled study was to evaluate the effect of using SMS, which reminds about the intake of medication, on reducing postoperative anxiety in participants undergoing cataract surgery. Design: Randomized controlled study.

Stroke is often associated with secondary complications such as nutritional and metabolic disorders, endocrine dysfunction, mental problems, and cardiopulmonary disorders caused by neurological and musculoskeletal deficits. The absence of the paretic side muscles and the difficulty of movement together with restrictive pulmonary disorders trigger a secondary decrease in cardiopulmonary function and expose insufficient energy associated with gait resulting in a decrease in asymmetric trunk exercise endurance.
REPLACE is a phase III, multicenter, randomized, open-label trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of regorafenib and pembrolizumab (Rego-Pembro) versus transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) or transarterial radioembolization (TARE) for the first-line treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC or liver cancer). Approximately 496 patients in around 80 clinical sites worldwide will be randomized to receive either: - Investigational arm: Regorafenib in combination with pembrolizumab - Control arm: Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) or transarterial radioembolization (TARE) In both arms, patients will receive trial treatment until progressive disease, unacceptable toxicity, deterioration of patient's condition that warrants permanent trial treatment discontinuation or other treatment discontinuation criteria is met. After trial treatment discontinuation, subsequent treatment will be administered according to the Investigator's clinical judgment.
There are studies investigating the dual-task effect in sitting, standing up without sitting and walking in children with spastic CP. Some of these studies investigated motor-motor, some of them motor-cognitive dual-task states, and children with CP were compared to typically developing children. In all these studies, it is clearly seen that children with CP have more dual-task complexities than their typically developing peers. Some of these studies draw attention to dual-task education in children with CP. However, other than a randomized controlled study and a case report in the literature, we did not find any studies investigating the effectiveness of dual-task training in children with CP. When the literature is examined in detail, there is no study that examines the effect of dual-task exercise programs on walking activities and children's participation in daily life in children with CP. This study has been planned based on this deficiency in the literature. Based on ICF, This study has been planned dual-task training for children with CP.
Objectives: The aim of this study is; detection of peptidyl arginine deiminase4 (PAD4), galectin-3 and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) levels in gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) samples of periodontally healthy, gingivitis and periodontitis patients and the possible correlation between these values and clinical parameters of periodontal diseases. Materials and methods: Samples of GCF were obtained from 60systemically healthy non-smoker individuals with periodontitis (P, n=20), gingivitis(G, n=20) and healthy periodontium (S, n=20). Full-mouth clinical periodontal measurements including probing depth (PD), clinical attachment level (CAL), bleeding on probing (BOP), gingival index (GI) and plaque index (PI) were also recorded. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to determine PAD4, galectin-3 and TNF-α levels in the biological samples.
