Clinical Evaluation of Posterior Indirect Resin Composite Restorations With PBE

Start date: September 11, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Evaluation of posterior indirect resin composite restorations with proximal box elevation technique. Restoration of large posterior defects extending below the cemento-enamel junction (CEJ) with coverage of one or more cusps represent a very common clinical situation. When restoring deep cervical margins biological and technical operative problems may occur. In order to make clinical procedures less fault-prone 'Proximal Box Elevation' (PBE) is an option that refers to application of composite resin in the deepest parts of the proximal areas in order to reposition the cervical margin supragingivally prior to cavity preparation for an indirect restoration. This project aims to evaluate the clinical performance and periodontal status of posterior indirect composite restorations with PBE. According to study design at least 60 patients will be recruited to project and 80 restorations will be evaluated. The project will be carried out at the School of Dentistry, Istanbul Medipol University,Turkey.

NCT ID: NCT03829319 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Nonsquamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Safety and Efficacy Study of Pemetrexed + Platinum Chemotherapy + Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) With or Without Lenvatinib (MK-7902/E7080) as First-line Intervention in Adults With Metastatic Nonsquamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (MK-7902-006/E7080-G000-315/LEAP-006)

Start date: March 25, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of pemetrexed + platinum chemotherapy + pembrolizumab (MK-3475) with or without lenvatinib (MK-7902/E7080) as first-line intervention in adults with metastatic nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer. The primary study hypotheses state that: 1) the combination of lenvatinib + platinum doublet chemotherapy + pembrolizumab prolongs Progression-free Survival (PFS) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR) per modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RESIST 1.1) compared to matching placebo + platinum doublet chemotherapy + pembrolizumab, and 2) the combination of lenvatinib + platinum doublet chemotherapy + pembrolizumab prolongs Overall Survival (OS) compared to matching placebo + platinum doublet chemotherapy + pembrolizumab.

NCT ID: NCT03828513 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Bariatric Surgery Candidate

Can the Effects of High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygenation on Postoperative Atelectasis be Evaluated With Lung Ultrasound

Start date: March 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Evaluate the effects of high-flow nasal oxygen therapy on atelectasis in the perioperative period by lung ultrasound (LUS) in bariatric surgery patients.

NCT ID: NCT03819153 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

A Research Study to See How Semaglutide Works Compared to Placebo in People With Type 2 Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease

FLOW
Start date: June 17, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The researchers are doing this study to see if semaglutide can slow down the growth and worsening of chronic kidney disease in people with type 2 diabetes. Participants will get semaglutide (active medicine) or placebo ('dummy medicine'). This is known as participants' study medicine - which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Semaglutide is a medicine, doctors can prescribe in some countries for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Participants will get the study medicine in a pen. Participants will use the pen to inject the medicine in a skin fold once a week. The study will close when there is enough information collected to show clear result of the study. The total time participants will be in this study is about 3 to 5 years, but it could be longer.

NCT ID: NCT03816163 Active, not recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of IMAB362 in Combination With Nab-Paclitaxel and Gemcitabine (Nab-P + GEM) as First Line Treatment in Subjects With Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) Positive, Metastatic Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

Start date: March 15, 2019
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to confirm the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) of zolbetuximab in combination with Nab-P + GEM, determine overall survival and assess the safety and tolerability of the combination treatment. This study will also evaluate tumor markers and pharmacokinetics (PK) of zolbetuximab, Nab-P and GEM, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL).

NCT ID: NCT03815643 Active, not recruiting - Solid Tumors Clinical Trials

Avelumab Program Rollover Study

Start date: March 22, 2019
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to monitor the safety and tolerability of avelumab in participants with solid tumors who continue treatment with avelumab under the same treatment regimen as in the parent avelumab study.

NCT ID: NCT03814746 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)
