There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The investigators hypothesize that a simple assessment of peripheral venous pressure (PVP) will better predict the diuretic need and long-term outcomes (all cause mortality, all cause rehospitalization, emergency department visits) compared to standard evaluation.
Aimed to be done in the planned thesis to evaluate the dental and periodontal health of patients with newly diagnosed JIA and healthy-periodontal problems with cytokines from saliva and oxidative stress markers non-invasively, and thus, to determine the markers' evaluability in terms of markers in determining the state of inflammation among individuals with and without the disease.
The objectives of this study were the translation, cross-cultural adaptation, and assessment of the psychometric properties of the Turkish High-Activity Arthroplasty Score (HAAS) in patients with primary TKA.
In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), infants encounter many sensory stimuli (excessive noise, bright lights, painful medical applications, etc.) that are not present in the uterus. During the critical period of brain development, this sensory overload affects the physiological responses of infants; It can lead to sensory processing problems by causing negative changes in motor, neurological and sensory development. Sensory processing was explained by Dunn as the emergence of appropriate reactions and behaviors in neurological processes in which visual, auditory, tactile, oral, olfactory, vestibular, proprioceptive and kinesthetic inputs are regulated.
High risk infant is defined as infant with a negative history of environmental and biological factors, which can lead to neuromotor development problems. It is a heterogeneous group of premature infants born under thirty-seven weeks of age, with infants with low birth weight, term or developmental retardation for various reasons. Therefore, preterm infants with low birth weight can survive with a neurological sequelae such as cerebral palsy (CP), epilepsy, hearing and vision loss, mental retardation, speech and speech problems, and learning difficulties. The clinical diagnosis of CP, which can be observed in high-risk infants, is based on the combination of some neuroimaging and neurological examinations and assesments like neonatal imaging, general movements (GMs) and Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination (HINE).
The aim of this study was to determine serum levels of VEGF, sVEGFR1, VEGFR2, IGFBP-3, angiogenin and endoglin in patients with larynx squamous cell carcinoma; investigate their association with clinical parameters and determine their diagnostic and prognostic value.
Ultrasound-guided quadratus lumborum block (QLB) is a fascial plane block where local anesthetic is injected adjacent to the quadratus lumborum muscle with the goal of anesthetizing the thoracolumbar nerves. In TLIP block, local anesthetic solution is injected between the multifidus and logissimus muscles nearly at the level of the 3rd lumbar vertebra and targets the dorsal rami of the thoracolumbar nerves. Ahiskalioglu et al. defined modified-lateral technique of TLIP (mTLIP) block as a new approach. Ahiskalioglu et al. have reported that this approach has some advantages. Firstly, sonographic visualisation is more easily than the classical technique. Secondly, insertion of the needle from medial to lateral direction reduces the risk of possible neuraxial injection. It has been reported that this technique provides effective analgesia after lumbar spinal surgery. The aim of this study is to compare US-guided mTLIP block and QLB for postoperative analgesia management after lumbar disc herniation-laminectomy surgery.

It is crucial to maintain the anatomic condylar positions during orthognathic surgery. Condylar positions are affected directly under general anesthesia because of joint and muscle relaxation. Possible unwanted changes in the joint position may cause incorrect positioning of the jawbones. This could affect the success of the surgery in terms of function and facial aesthetics causing the need for a second surgery. Our aim is to evaluate whether the use of MR Splint has a statistically significant effect on muscle relaxation-induced condyle position deviations under general anesthesia in Class III Laterognathia patients.
Aim: The aim of this study to determine the effect of motivational interviews on the perception and self-efficacy of birth in nullipars with a perception of traumatic birth. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted in a randomized controlled, between November 2019 and November 2020 in the obstetrics outpatient clinics of Elazig Fethi Sekin City Hospital. In the power analysis, the sample size was calculated as at least 83 pregnant women for each group (83 experiment, 83 control). Data were collected with Descriptive Information Form, Traumatic Childbirth Perceptions Scale (TCPS) and Childbirth of Self-Efficacy Scale-Short From (CBSE). Pregnant women in the experimental group were held with four sessions of motivational interviews one week a part. No intervention was made for the pregnant women in the control group. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t test for dependent and independent groups were used in data analysis
