The Effects of Balance Trainer

The trunk is reference and key region of body in terms of both mobility and stability. Sufficient stability in the trunk is essential for the execution of intentional extremity movements. Therefore, even in conditions with significant extremity impairment, such as stroke, trunk functionality is a crucial factor affecting the success of treatment. The Balance Trainer is a device used for balance rehabilitation. However, the patient's use of the trunk is also intense during trunk exercises. The aim of the study is to contribute to the literature by examining the development of trunk control, a component of both balance and stability, through the use of the Balance Trainer.

Virtual Reality Based Robotic Gait and Balance Trainer

The aim of research is to examine and compare the effectiveness of virtual reality-based balance training and robot-assisted walking approaches on balance and gait in individuals post-stroke. Through the study, Investigators intend to reach conclusions regarding whether the focus should be on balance or walking training based on the Berg Balance Scale and Functional Ambulation Classification levels of stroke survivors. Subgroups will be formed in both groups based on Functional Ambulation and Berg Balance Scale scores. The balance and gait developments within these subgroups will be compared, aiming to determine at which levels balance or walking improvement is more pronounced. These findings are crucial for making the right choices in setting rehabilitation goals for individual patients.

Action Observation Therapy Via Telerehabilitation on Total Knee Arthroplasty Surgery

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare patient-reported and performance-based outcomes of patients followed with a standard exercise program based on telerehabilitation and patients followed with action observation therapy program added to a standard exercise program based on telerehabilitation after total knee arthroplasty surgery. The main questions it aims to answer are: - [What is the effect of action observation therapy added to a telerehabilitation-based standard exercise program on patient-reported outcomes after total knee arthroplasty surgery?] - [What is the effect of action observation therapy added to a telerehabilitation-based standardized exercise program on performance-based outcomes after total knee arthroplasty surgery?] Participants will be divided into three groups by computer-assisted randomization method: Group 1: home exercise with information leaflet group, Group 2: information leaflet + telerehabilitation-based standard exercise program group, Group 3: information leaflet + telerehabilitation-based standard exercise program + action observation therapy group. Patients in the second and third groups will be followed up with the telerehabilitation method accompanied by a physiotherapist for 30 minutes 3 days a week for 6 weeks after discharge. The third group will receive a standard exercise program 3 days a week and 15 minutes of action observation therapy via video conferencing.

This research is a randomized controlled experimental type study with a pretest-posttest control group. In the research, after obtaining the necessary permissions and the ethics committee report, the application will be carried out to women who have given birth by cesarean section at the State Hospital and meet the criteria for inclusion in the study. Personal Information Form, Richard Campbell Sleep Scale, Trait-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Postpartum Comfort Scale, Bristol Breastfeeding Evaluation Tool, Visual Analog Scale for Pain, Uterine Involution Evaluation Form, Physiological Parameter Form will be used in the research.

The goal of this clinical trial is to investigate of the effects of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercises on fatigue, muscle strength and functional parameters in patient with Myasthenia Gravis. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Do proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercises reduce fatigue in patients with Myasthenia Gravis? - Do proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercises increase muscle strength in patients with Myasthenia Gravis? - Do proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercises improve functional parameters in patients with Myasthenia Gravis? - How well can patients with Myasthenia Gravis tolerate proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercises? Participants will be divided into 2 groups as control group and exercise group with block randomization method. In this single-blind randomized controlled study, the participants in the control group will be placed on a waiting list without any intervention during the 6-week study period and at the end of the study, the interventions applied to the exercise group will be applied exactly the same. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation exercises will be applied to the exercise group 3 days a week, 1 hour a day for 6 weeks. Individuals will be evaluated at the beginning and at the end of the study. Researchers will compare exercise and control group to see if there are effects of proprioceptive neuromuscular exercises patients with Myasthenia Gravis.

AI Prediction of Post-Induction Hypotension in Cesarean Sections With Spinal Anesthesia

The cesarean section, medically necessary for both the mother and the baby in certain cases, is a life-saving operation.The most commonly used anesthesia method worldwide is spinal anesthesia. While spinal anesthesia has many advantages, it also has disadvantages. One of the most commonly encountered disadvantages is the development of hypotension due to the unopposed parasympathetic response after induction. Determining which patient will develop hypotension and which patient will not remains an important question for anesthesiologists before surgery. Identifying high-risk patients for hypotension before starting spinal anesthesia and even knowing the percentage of patients who will develop hypotension undoubtedly saves time in problem-solving. From this perspective, the idea for this study emerged: identifying parameters with the potential for use in prediction based on the literature, collecting data, then testing the relationship between them using machine learning methods, and developing an algorithm capable of predictive analysis. At the end of the study, an artificial intelligence algorithm for predicting hypotension after induction will be developed, and its performance will be tested. The main goals of the study: i)Create a dataset including the clinical characteristics, demographic data, and blood test results of patients who develop and do not develop hypotension after spinal anesthesia. ii) Develop an artificial intelligence algorithm using the dataset and determine the most accurate algorithm for predicting hypotension. iii) To test the accuracy of the developed algorithm, create a test dataset, measure and optimize the algorithm's performance. Accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curves will be used for performance measurement. iv) Create a suitable interface (a surface for interaction with the software) to make the developed algorithm usable in clinical practice.
