There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The hypothesis of this study is that sedoanalgesia will provide better early neurological recovery than general anaesthesia in acute ischaemic stroke patients undergoing endovascular thrombectomy and to investigate the haemodynamic data of both anaesthetic methods.
In this study, it was aimed to compare the multimodal analgesia application or the pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block methods in patients undergoing hip surgery. The effectiveness and benefit rate of the PENG block in postoperative pain will be evaluated. Postoperative pain, need for additional analgesia, range of motion of the hip joint, mobilization time, length of hospital time and adverse events in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery with and without PENG block will be investigated.
The hypothesis of this study is that patients who undergo PENG block in before Total Hip Artroplasthy (THA) surgery with spinal anesthesia will have reduced postoperative pain scores, less need for opioid analgesics and earlier mobilisation.
Nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) acts as a 'pressure' bridge between spontaneous breathing and controlled mechanical ventilation. As a result, there is an increasing trend in the prophylactic use of nasal CPAP in pediatric patients following high-risk airway procedures to reduce postoperative airway complications. Still, there is no study published on the prophylactic use of balloon dilatation in children with tracheal stenosis. The study hypothesizes that implementing postoperative prophylactic CPAP in pediatric cases with subglottic stenosis undergoing balloon dilation may shorten recovery time and minimize airway complications.
In this study, the effects of bilateral stimulation of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) with active tDCS (transcranial direct stimulation/transcranial direct stimulation) on neurocognitive (memory and executive) functions in patients with Covid-19 infection and subjective cognitive complaints, as well as resting-state fMRI In the case of dfMRI, it is aimed to examine the default mode network (DMN) and parietal memory network (PMN) inter- and intra-network connectivity alterations and the hippocampal region connectivity alterations and contribute to the relevant literature.
Implementation of awareness-based stress reduction program in breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and examining its effects on psychological resilience, symptom management and quality of life.
The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to compare the outcome of total amputation and root canal treatment with or without cryotherapy in terms of postoperative pain, quality of life, and treatment success for the management of deep dentinal caries. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does cryotherapy influence the outcome, life quality and treatment success in total pulpotomy? Does cryotherapy influence the outcome, life quality and treatment success in root canal treatment? Does the outcome of total pulpotomy and root canal treatment differ in cases of pulpitis? There are 4 experimental groups: 1. Total pulpotomy with cryotherapy group 2. Total pulpotomy group (Control 1) 3. Root canal treatment with cryotherapy group 4. Root canal treatment group (Control 2)
Purpose of the Research: This study will be conducted to determine the effect of the education given to caregivers of Alzheimer's patients registered to home health services on their knowledge and attitudes towards Alzheimer's disease. Hypotheses of the Research H01: The education given to caregivers of Alzheimer's patients registered to home health services does not affect the caregivers' level of knowledge about Alzheimer's disease. H11: The education given to caregivers of Alzheimer's patients registered to home health services increases the caregivers' level of knowledge about Alzheimer's disease. H02: The education given to caregivers of Alzheimer's patients registered to home health services does not affect the caregivers' attitudes towards Alzheimer's disease. H12: The education given to caregivers of Alzheimer's patients registered to home health services positively affects the caregivers' attitudes towards Alzheimer's disease.
The effectiveness of assessing postoperative outcomes in eldely patients undergoing major abdominal surgery through the Frailty Scale and Katz Activities of Daily Living evaluation is investigated in individuals aged 65-85. The secondary objective is to determine the prevalence of frailty in patients undergoing surgical procedures.
The aim of the study was to determine the effect of motivational interviews applied to infertile women on their ability to cope with infertility, self-efficacy and stress.
