There are about 3709 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Thailand. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
To comparison of efficacy of Bupivacaine for relief postoperative pain in women undergoing laparoscopic gynecologic surgery
Lime powder regimen (LPR) is a lime-derived composition enriches with citrate/citric acid and potassium. LPR was invented to treat the renal stone patients with high risk of stone recurrence after stone removal. LPR should have equal or higher efficacy and lower adverse effect than current standard medicine.
The creation of pneumoperitoneum during laparoscopic surgery can have significant effects on the respiratory system including decreased respiratory system compliance, decreased vital capacity and functional residual capacity and atelectasis formation. Intraoperative mechanical ventilation, especially setting of positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) has an important role in respiratory management during laparoscopic surgery. The aim of this study is to determine whether setting of PEEP guided by measurement of pleural pressure would improve oxygenation and respiratory system compliance during laparoscopic surgery.
Compare the HMO composition in breast milk of infants with allergic manifestation (atopic dermatitis and food allergy) in the first 3 years of life, healthy infants with allergic mother and healthy infants with non-allergic mother.
Does a 4-week stepping training program with or without external feedback clinically change functional ability and reduce risk of fall of ambulatory patients with iSCI? Are there significant differences between 4-weeks stepping training with or without external feedback in ambulatory patients with iSCI?
To study efficacy of postoperative pain control of different concentrations of bupivacaine for periarticular infiltration, part of multimodal analgesia, in bilateral total knee arthroplasty. To study plasma concentration of bupivacaine in patient who received spinal anesthesia and single shot bilateral adductor canal block and periarticular infiltration with bupivacaine for safety level.
In order to understand the risks and benefits of edoxaban use in a real-world clinical setting in the NVAF indication, Daiichi-Sankyo Thailand proposed this non-interventional study (NIS) to gain insight into the safety (bleeding, liver adverse events, all-cause mortality and other adverse events) of edoxaban use in non-preselected patients with NVAF.
Post extubation respiratory failure occur in 30% of extubated patients. More than 50% of them required reintubation. Noninvasive positive pressure ventilation (NIV) had been reported as an effective tool to prevent post extubation respiratory failure. Recently, high flow oxygen nasal cannula (HFNC) had been successfully used to prevent post extubation respiratory failure and prevent reintubation in comparable with NIV among post cardiothoracic surgery and high risk for reintubated patients. There was no information about HFNC versus NIV in prevention of reintubation among severe sepsis or septic shock patients.
Study Title: Phase I/II study of brentuximab vedotin and methotrexate/ L-asparaginase/ dexamethasone (B-MAD) chemotherapy in patients with newly-diagnosed Extranodal NK/T-cell Lymphoma Phase: I/II Number of Patients: 36 Study Objectives Primary - To determine the safety and optimal dose of brentuximab vedotin when use in combination with methotrexate, L-asparaginase and dexamethasone in the treatment of newly-diagnosed ENKTL patients Secondary - To evaluate the clinical efficacy of this regimen - To access the overall responses including overall response rate (ORR), disease-free survival (DSF), progression-free survival (PFS). Overview of Study Design: Open-label, multicenter, non-randomized, 3+3 dose escalation study of brentuximab vedotin in combination with fixed-dose MAD chemotherapy. The first cycle will be evaluated for the determination of the recommended phase II dose. Patients will be received the treatment according to the stage of disease as follows: - Patients with localized ENKTL (stage IE or stage IIE) will receive involved-field radiation (IRFT) with concomitant weekly intravenous Cisplatin. Three to five weeks after the completion of IFRT and cisplatin, B-MAD (Brentuximab vedotin, Methotrexate, L-asparaginase and Dexamethasone) regimen will be given every 21 days for 3 cycles. - Patients with advanced ENKTL (stage III or stag IV) will receive B-MAD every 21 days for 6 cycles. Study Population: Patients with newly-diagnosed ENKTL will be screened for enrollment. Duration of Study: 3 years
The investigators will conduct two rural surveys in Thailand and Lao PDR to improve the understanding of antibiotic-related health behaviour among the general population. One survey will capture a cross-section of health behaviours that is representative for the rural population in Chiang Rai (Thailand) and Salavan (Lao PDR), the other survey will create a two round village-level panel data set to study the evolution of health behaviours in the context of public engagement activities. The investigators will also collect complementary data about village-level infrastructure through observational check-lists, and collect secondary data on patient load from primary care units catering to their survey villages. As part of the questionnaire testing process, the investigators will conduct (and collect as primary data) cognitive interviews to improve the survey tool, to interpret their data, and to justify their methodological choices.
