This open-label, single arm prospective cohort study will assess the safety of dabigatran etexilate in secondary prevention of venous thromboembolism in paediatric patients. Children from 0 to less than 18 years of age will be eligible to participate.

The hypothesis to be tested in this study is the percentage of patients with steady state Cycle 5 Ctrough (Cycle 6 pre-dose) >20 µg/mL of trastuzumab-Pfizer is similar to EU-approved trastuzumab, using a margin of -12.5%.
The main objective of this trial is to compare change in weekly average daily pain score (ADPS) from baseline to Week 13 in participants receiving either dose of DS-5565 versus placebo.
