The purpose of this study is to look at the long term safety profile of Orfadin treatment in patients suffering from hereditary tyrosinemia type 1 (HT-1). Patients included in the study will use Orfadin according to normal clinical practice.
The primary objective of the RIC-STEMI trial is to assess whether remote ischaemic conditioning (RIC) as an adjunctive therapy during primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients presenting with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) can improve clinical outcomes as assessed by death from cardiac-cause or hospitalization for heart failure (HF) for a minimum follow-up period of 12 months.

This project which is fully funded by the European Union FP7 Program is designed to pull together all the information we obtain from scans and x-rays to design a personalised 3-D digital model of each patient, their anatomy and disease. Heroin use has been related to brain dysfunction particularly in the prefrontal cortex. These effects are evident in neuropsychological impairments in attention, memory and executive functioning of heroin users. To assess these deficits and the application of a novel approach of cognitive stimulation to heroin users in treatment for opioid dependence, we have carried out a neuropsychological intervention program with mobile health technology. Patients diagnosed with opioid dependence were submitted to cognitive stimulation during four weeks in a three-day/week basis.
This study aims to collect follow-up data on approximately 90% of patients who were randomized and received one dose of study drug in FTY720D2201. No study drug is given or required. Patients will be required to be assessed at one or two visits, preferably at the original study site, but the option to be interviewed via phone or seen at home is provided. Information will also be gathered on deceased patients. Assessments will be performed only once within an 8 week period and include medical history, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Multiple Sclerosis Disease Modifying Therapy (MS DMT) history, Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Multiple Sclerosis Functional Composite (MSFC).
This is a Phase III, global, multicenter, open-label, two-arm, randomized, controlled study designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of atezolizumab compared with chemotherapy in participants with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial bladder cancer (UBC) who have progressed during or following a platinum-containing regimen. The anticipated time on study treatment is based on continued clinical benefit, i.e., until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. The target sample size is 931 participants.
This is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, pre-operative Phase II study designed to estimate the efficacy of ipatasertib combined with paclitaxel chemotherapy versus placebo combined with paclitaxel chemotherapy in women with Stage Ia - IIIa triple-negative breast adenocarcinoma. The anticipated time on study treatment is 12 weeks.
The recent development of therapies targeting specific biomarkers mutations is changing the standards of care and prognosis of patients with advanced NSCLC, but very few data are currently available on those emerging biomarkers. In addition, the correlation of biomarkers with patients' clinical outcomes in a standard of care setting is poorly understood. This study aims to address that need.
The purpose of this study is to determine if the application of Boussignac continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) immediately after extubation improves PaO2 and PaO2/FiO2 ratio in morbidly obese patients undergoing gastric bypass surgery .
