Part 1: This is a multi-center evaluation of pegozafermin (administered weekly or every other week) in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study administered for 12 weeks in participants with NASH and NAFLD at high risk of NASH, including a pre-defined number of participants with biopsy confirmed NASH and fibrosis stages F1-F3 to be enrolled. Part 2: This is a multi-center, open label evaluation of pegozafermin at 27 mg administered weekly for 20 weeks in participants with biopsy-proven NASH (NAS ≥4, fibrosis stage F2 or F3).
The purpose of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy of the study drug tirzepatide to placebo in participants with type 2 diabetes that are already on insulin glargine, with or without metformin. Participants will administer tirzepatide or placebo along with their previous glucose lowering medications. The study will last approximately 47 weeks and may include about 23 visits.
This study will evaluate the safety and behavior in the body of the experimental drug TMB-365 in people with HIV-1 infection. This will be the first test of TMB-365 in humans. One dose of the study drug is given to each participant, followed by 10 weeks of monitoring for safety and levels of the drug in the blood. The first group of participants will receive the lowest dose (400 mg). If no safety concerns are seen, the next group will begin at a higher dose (800 mg). If no safety concerns are seen in the second group, the third group will begin at the highest dose in this study (1600 mg).
The objective of LIN-MD-64 is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 12 weeks of linaclotide therapy (72 μg daily) in comparison with placebo in pediatric participants, 6 to 17 years of age, who fulfill modified Rome III Criteria for Child/Adolescent Functional Constipation (FC). The objective of LIN-MD-64 is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 12 weeks of linaclotide therapy (145 μg or 290 μg daily) in pediatric participants, 7 to 17 years of age, who fulfill the Rome III criteria for child/adolescent Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and modified Rome III criteria for child/adolescent Functional Constipation (FC).
A Phase 2 study with 4 treatment groups of two differing doses and matched placebos designed to evaluate the safety (including hepatic safety), tolerability and pharmacodynamic effects of two dose levels of MEDI0382 in obese subjects with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)/non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The subjects will have biopsy-confirmed NAFLD/NASH with liver fibrosis stage F1, F2 or F3. Approximately 72 subjects will be randomized
This study compares the effect of two doses of semaglutide (1.0 mg and 2.0 mg) in people with type 2 diabetes (T2D). People taking part in the study will take the medicine together with their current diabetes medicine (sulphonylurea and/or metformin). Participants will get a dose of either 1.0 mg or 2.0 mg semaglutide once a week - which dose is decided by chance. Participants will inject semaglutide under the skin once a week. The study will last for about 49 weeks. Participants will have 9 clinic visits and 2 phone calls with the study doctor. At the visits participants will have blood taken and eye tests done. Women cannot take part if pregnant, breast-feeding or planning to become pregnant during the study period. Female participants who can get pregnant will be checked 11 times for pregnancy via urine tests.
The purpose of the study is the measure the levels of lasmiditan in the body of children aged 6 to 17 with migraine. The study also will also examine the safety and tolerability of lasmiditan in children aged 6 to 17 with migraine. The study will last about 6 weeks, and includes 4 visits.
