Nasal washing (washout) followed by gargles with hypertonic saline (HSNIG) is believed to be effective in reducing the duration of illness in those with clinically suspected or confirmed COVID-19 being managed at home, and also is effective in reducing complications of COVID-19 and onward household transmission. This study plans to investigate whether the use of HSNIG performed by adults with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 reduces the duration of symptoms when compared to participants managed using standard care.

The people with diabetes (type 1 and type 2) who have a Douleur Neuropathique 4 (DN4) score ≥4 will be considered eligible in this prospective study. Their serum samples will be subjected to pre-and post-biochemical screening of serum 25 (OH) D and HbA1c. The individual having Vitamin D insufficiency and deficiency will be administered a single dose of oral Vitamin D3 (Soft Gel capsule 200,000 IU), and follow-up for post-biochemical screening after 3 months.
Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) disorders are rising in incidence due to increased rate of repeat caesarean sections. Peripartum hysterectomy remains the only definitive treatment of massive postpartum haemorrhage related to this condition. Researchers have described conservative treatments in the form of pelvic devascularization under radiological control, myometrial resection with placenta in situ, and various suturing techniques some involving inversion of cervix. Variable success rates are described, but search continues for a simple, safe and effective treatment. The objective of this study is to assess the simplicity, safety and efficacy of A. Chohan Continuous Squeezing Suture (ACCSS) in the management of PAS.

The glenohumeral joint is an articulation between the glenoid of the scapula and the head of the humerus that is enclosed by a synovial capsule divided into three main components: anterior, posterior, and the axillary pouch. Symptoms of posterior capsule tightness are linked to altered shoulder biomechanics and impairments which includes glenohumeral internal rotation deficit, incomplete glenohumeral adduction, impaired inferior glenohumeral ligament (IGHL) function, and increased risk of impingement symptoms. In the literature the two techniques available for stretching posterior capsule are pragmatic posterior capsular stretch and sleeper stretch. Pragmatic posterior capsular stretch is therapist administered and sleeper stretch is patient-administered. The work on the pragmatic posterior capsular stretch is more specified and rational to mark the tightness in the posterior capsule.
