NCT ID: NCT02910583 Completed - Leukemia Clinical Trials

Ibrutinib Plus Venetoclax in Subjects With Treatment-naive Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia /Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (CLL/SLL)

Captivate
Start date: September 28, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter, 2-cohort Phase 2 study assessing both minimal residual disease (MRD)-guided discontinuation and fixed duration therapy with the combination of ibrutinib + venetoclax in subjects with treatment-naïve CLL or SLL.

NCT ID: NCT02908308 Completed - Clinical trials for Out-of-hospital Cardiac Arrest

Targeted Hypothermia Versus Targeted Normothermia After Out-of-hospital Cardiac Arrest

TTM-2
Start date: November 18, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

ILCOR guidelines recommend Target Temperature Management (TTM) to between 32°C and 36°C after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, based on low quality evidence. In a previous trial, TTM at 33°C did not confer a survival benefit or improved neurological function, compared to TTM at 36°C. A lower target temperature might be beneficial compared with normothermia and early treatment of fever. Therefore the primary purpose of the TTM2-trial will be to study any differences in mortality, neurological function and quality of life between a target temperature of 33°C and standard care avoiding fever.

NCT ID: NCT02908191 Completed - Chronic Hepatitis B Clinical Trials

A Study in Healthy Volunteers and Patients With Chronic Hepatitis B

Start date: November 2016
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This two-part, Phase 1 protocol will be the first clinical study of ABI-H0731. Part I will be a Phase 1a dose-ranging assessment of ABI-H0731 in healthy adult volunteers. If the dose-related safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics (PK) of ABI-H0731 in human volunteers are deemed satisfactory, then the study will advance to Part II, a Phase 1b dose-ranging assessment of ABI-H0731 in non-cirrhotic, CHB patients.

NCT ID: NCT02896725 Completed - Varicose Ulcer Clinical Trials

Wool-derived Keratin Dressings for Venous Leg Ulcers

Keratin4VLU
Start date: March 1, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Venous leg ulcers (VLU) are the most common leg ulcer, can be painful, and limit work, lifestyles and activity, especially in older patients. Compression bandaging is the main treatment but there are few added treatments for patients with slow healing VLU. About 50% of patients with VLU may be slow healing. Research suggests using keratin dressings as well as using compression may help healing in patients with show healing VLU, but the current evidence is not enough to change clinical practice. The investigators will conduct a randomised controlled trial to test whether using keratin dressings is better than usual care for slow healing VLU.

NCT ID: NCT02894242 Completed - Clinical trials for Obstructive Sleep Apnea

The Evaluation of a Nasal Pillows Mask for the Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)

Start date: September 2016
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This investigation is designed to evaluate the performance as well as the patients overall acceptance of the mask.

NCT ID: NCT02889796 Completed - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Filgotinib in Combination With Methotrexate in Adults With Moderately to Severely Active Rheumatoid Arthritis Who Have an Inadequate Response to Methotrexate

FINCH 1
Start date: August 30, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of filgotinib versus placebo for the treatment of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) as measured by the percentage of participants achieving an American College of Rheumatology 20% improvement response (ACR20) at Week 12.

NCT ID: NCT02886728 Completed - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Filgotinib Alone and in Combination With Methotrexate (MTX) in Adults With Moderately to Severely Active Rheumatoid Arthritis Who Are Naive to MTX Therapy

FINCH 3
Start date: August 8, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of filgotinib in combination with methotrexate (MTX) versus MTX alone in adults with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

NCT ID: NCT02880956 Completed - Alzheimer's Disease Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of ABBV-8E12 in Participants With Early Alzheimer's Disease

Start date: January 26, 2017
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study seeks to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ABBV-8E12 in participants with early Alzheimer's disease (AD).

NCT ID: NCT02879305 Completed - Anaemia Clinical Trials

Anemia Studies in Chronic Kidney Disease: Erythropoiesis Via a Novel Prolyl Hydroxylase Inhibitor Daprodustat-Dialysis (ASCEND-D)

Start date: September 28, 2016
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this multi-center event-driven study in participants with anemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) to evaluate the safety and efficacy of daprodustat.

NCT ID: NCT02878330 Completed - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infections

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of MEDI8897 for the Prevention of Medically Attended RSV LRTI in Healthy Preterm Infants.

MEDI8897 Ph2b
Start date: November 3, 2016
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and antidrug antibody (ADA) response for MEDI8897 in healthy preterm infants who are between 29 and 35 weeks gestational age (GA) and entering their first Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) season.
