NCT ID: NCT04525950 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Osteo Arthritis Knee

Robotized Navigation Compared to Conventional Technique in Total Knee Replacement

NavioRCT
Start date: September 7, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Navio is a new generation of computer navigation systems allowing intraoperative navigation of the bone cuts relative to both ligaments and skeletal axes, prior to bone removal. An improved accuracy is incorporated by the use of robotics in a burr for bone removal. This study investigates whether this advanced technology leads to better clinical or radiostereometric results, by comparing one group operated with Navio to another group operated with conventional technique.

NCT ID: NCT04514003 Active, not recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

The Corona and COVID-19 Study in Telemark and Agder

COVITA
Start date: July 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Through SARS-CoV-2 IgG testing of PCR positive and negative cases the study will follow the COVID-19 immune response by monitoring the SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody levels over a period of two years. Further, risk factors will be identified by the use of the test-negative design including population controls, allowing comparison of participants with positive and negative tests, and with population controls (triangulation). Special emphasis will be on high risk groups in general and on different occupational, environmental and socio-economic groups in particular. Finally, severity of illness, deaths and the use of health care during will be assessed using national register data from Telemark and Agder.

NCT ID: NCT04512937 Active, not recruiting - Rectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Computer Navigation-assisted Surgery for Locally Advanced and Recurrent Rectal Cancer

NAVI-LARRC
Start date: September 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to investigate feasibility of computer navigation-assisted surgery in particularly difficult cases of locally advanced (LARC) and recurrent (LRRC) rectal cancer where the standard surgical strategy is expected to result in incomplete tumour removal. The investigators hypothesize that computer navigation-assisted surgery can facilitate improved anatomic orientation in the pelvis enabling tumour removal with free margins in these cases.

NCT ID: NCT04483739 Active, not recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

Isa-KRd vs KRd in Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma Patients Eligible for Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation (IsKia TRIAL)

IsKia
Start date: September 25, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This protocol is a phase III study designed to compare the efficacy and the safety of Isa-KRd induction, transplant, Isa-KRd post ASCT consolidation and Isa-KRd light consolidation vs KRd induction, transplant, KRd post ASCT consolidation and KRd light consolidation After confirmation of eligibility criteria patients will be randomized to one of the 2 treatment groups in a 1:1 randomization ratio.

NCT ID: NCT04475939 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Lung Cancer, Non-Small Cell

Placebo-controlled Study Comparing Niraparib Plus Pembrolizumab Versus Placebo Plus Pembrolizumab as Maintenance Therapy in Participants With Advanced/Metastatic Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

ZEAL-1L
Start date: October 26, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of niraparib plus pembrolizumab versus placebo plus pembrolizumab as maintenance therapy in participants with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have achieved stable disease (SD), partial response (PR), or complete response (CR) following completion of standard of care first-line platinum-based induction chemotherapy with pembrolizumab. The primary hypotheses are: participants with confirmed diagnosis of NSCLC could benefit from niraparib plus pembrolizumab versus placebo plus pembrolizumab with respect to Progression-free survival (PFS) and Overall survival (OS).

NCT ID: NCT04472429 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Anal Canal

Carboplatin-paclitaxel With Retifanlimab or Placebo in Participants With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Squamous Cell Anal Carcinoma (POD1UM-303/InterAACT 2).

Start date: January 12, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is a Phase 3 global, multicenter, placebo-controlled double-blind randomized study that will enroll participants with inoperable locally recurrent or metastatic SCAC not previously treated with systemic chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT04469712 Active, not recruiting - Metabolic Syndrome Clinical Trials

Non-randomized Prospective Comparison Between SASI Bipartition and RYGB

Start date: August 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The main aim of this project is to assess the safety and efficiency of the SASI Bipartition.

NCT ID: NCT04463823 Active, not recruiting - COVID Clinical Trials

"NORPLASMA" Covid-19 Convalescent Plasma Treatment Monitoring Study

MONITOR
Start date: July 6, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

NORPLASMA COVID-19 includes both the production of convalescent plasma from approved blood donors who have recovered from covid-19 (coronavirus disease 2019), and clinical studies to evaluate efficacy and safety of the treatment, as recommended by European health authorities. Patients who receive convalescent plasma in a clinical setting will be invited to participate in the monitoring study NORPLASMA MONITOR, where clinical data about safety and effect on clinical parameters including virus load and recovery time will be collected and compared to european patients in a common database for the European countries. The treated patients can be compared to a historical control group.

NCT ID: NCT04459117 Active, not recruiting - Extreme Prematurity Clinical Trials

Prophylactic Treatment of the Ductus Arteriosus in Preterm Infants by Acetaminophen

TREOCAPA
Start date: October 29, 2020
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

TREOCAPA is a Phase II/III European Multicentre study concerning the prophylactic treatment by Acetaminophen of extremely preterm infant during the first five days after birth. The Phase II is a dose finding phase in order to assess the minimum effective dose regimen of acetaminophen for the closure of PDA for neonates with a gestational age less than 27 weeks This part of the study will be conducted in 11 NICUs, in 4 countries (France, UK, Finland and Denmark). The Phase III is The phase III is a randomized, multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled superiority trial, two arms in a 1:1 ratio, evaluating an increasing of 10% of the percentage of survival without severe morbidity at 36 weeks of post menstrual age. In the intervention arm, 20 mg/kg followed by 7.5 mg/kg quarter in die (QID) will be administered to the 27-28 weeks gestational age group (dosage confirmed through PK/PD data analysis from the previous Finnian study) and the dosage selected after the conclusion of the Phase II will be administered to the 23-26 weeks gestational age group. A group sequential design, with a total of 3 analyses (2 interim analyses and a final) and the O'Brien-Fleming alpha spending function is chosen for the trial. At the same time, a Bayesian sequential analysis is planned for safety endpoints
