The aim of this study is to investigate the inter- and intra-observer variability of first-trimester Uterine Artery Doppler ultrasound measurements in pregnancies between 11+0 and 13+0 weeks of gestation. Participants will undergo a measurement protocol (six sets of Doppler ultrasounds measurements of right and left uterine artery) performed alternately by two observers (sonographers or physicians who perform these ultrasounds frequently in clinical practice at the outpatient clinic).

Calcium Reduction by Orbital Atherectomy in Western Europe

In calcified lesions, optimal stent placement and expansion may prove to be challenging. Lesion preparation is necessary to facilitate optimal stenting in calcified lesions, for which orbital atherectomy can used. Therefore the aim of this study is to: 1. Show that orbital atherectomy effectuates optimal stent expansion 2. Investigate the mechanics of lesion preparation when using orbital atherectomy Patients presenting with a significant and severely calcified lesion in need of orbital atherectomy will undergo optical coherence tomography guided orbital atherectomy and stent placement.

Introduction Up to half of hospital employees worldwide are experiencing symptoms of burnout. Therefore, interventions to improve mental health among hospital workers are urgently needed. Your World is an inexpensive and easy-to-use intervention that aims to reduce stress and increase resilience among hospital employees. Your world uses a blended approach, which includes a real-life personal session and challenges in the Your World app (for smartphone). Hypothesis The investigators hypothesize that Your World will improve resilience and well-being and reduce stress among hospital employees. Research objectives Main objective - Does Your World reduce stress among hospital employees as measured by the PSS-10? Design Randomised controlled trial Population Employees of the Erasmus University Medical Center including students and volunteers Methods and study procedures Five hundred participants will be randomized 1:1 to receive either Your World (intervention) or the control app (control). In the intervention group, subjects will participate in one 'vitality session' before installing the app. At baseline and after 3 months hair samples questionnaires will be collected among the participants of both groups. At 6 months, same questionnaires will be collected. Burden and risks There are no risks associated with participation in this study. The questionnaires can be filled out online in 15 minutes, hair collection takes 5 minutes. The vitality sessions take 1 hour and the use of the app takes 5 minutes a day.

Near-Infrared Imaging for Perfusion Assessment of Traumatic Soft Tissue and Skeletal Injuries

To date, intraoperative assessment of tissue and bone viability is predominantly subjective, depending on the clinical view of the surgeon, resulting in a variation in the thoroughness of debridement. Inadequate initial resection leads to multiple debridement interventions, leading to prolonged hospitalization or readmission with consequently high direct medical costs. Near-Infrared Fluorescence (NIRF) imaging with Indocyanine Green (ICG) could potentially be a relevant contribution to adequately treating soft tissue and skeletal injuries by creating an improved distinction between viable and non-viable tissue, based on perfusion indices. This study evaluates whether intraoperative perfusion assessment with ICG fluorescence imaging is a feasible and quantifiable technique for treating traumatic injuries.

This is a Phase III, multicentre, randomised, double-blinded, placebo-controlled, parallel group study to evaluate the safety, tolerability and effect of 1 or 2 mg baxdrostat versus placebo, administered once daily (QD) orally, on the reduction of systolic blood pressure in approximately 720 participants aged ≥ 18 years with hypertension, despite a stable regimen of 2 antihypertensive agents at baseline, one of which is a diuretic (uncontrolled hypertension); or ≥ 3 antihypertensive agents at baseline, one of which is a diuretic (treatment-resistant hypertension).

The Effect of Non-invasive Respiratory Support on Outcome and Its Risks in Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2)-Related Hypoxemic Respiratory Failure

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) can result in severe hypoxemic respiratory failure that ultimately may require invasive mechanical ventilation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Although lifesaving, invasive mechanical ventilation is associated with high mortality, severe discomfort for patient, long-term sequelae, stress to loved-ones and high costs for society. During the ongoing pandemic high number of invasively ventilated COVID-19 patients overwhelmed ICU capacity. Non-invasive respiratory support, such as high flow nasal oxygen (HFNO) or non-invasive ventilation (NIV) have the potential to reduce the risk for invasive mechanical ventilation and in selected cases ICU admission. However, data from different studies are conflicting and studies performed in COVID-19 patients are of limited quality. Furthermore, identification of early predictors of HFNO/NIV treatment failure may prevent unnecessary delay of initiation of invasive ventilation, which may be associated with adverse clinical outcome. The development and validation of a prediction model, that incorporates readily available clinically data may prove pivotal to fine-tune non-invasive respiratory support. The overall aim of the NORMO2 project is to investigate the role and risks of HFNO and NIV to improve outcome in hospitalized hypoxemic COVID-19 patients.

Effectiveness of Multisystemic Therapy for Adolescents From Families With Intellectual Disabilities

The goal of this observational study is to determine the effectiveness of a specialisation of multisystemic therapy (MST) for adolescents with severe behavioural problems from families with an intellectual disability (ID; MST-ID). To achieve this goal, a mixed method study design is used. To this end, a quantitative and a qualitatively primary research question are formulated: - Is MST-ID superior, when compared to standard MST, in reducing rule-breaking behaviour of adolescents (quantitative)? - What are the experiences of adolescents and/or parents receiving MST-ID treatment (qualitative)? Participants will be asked to complete two screeners (questionnaires delivered as a verbal interview) with a total duration of approximately 30 minutes. Other data will be collected through Routine Outcome Monitoring questionnaires that are part of standard MST procedures. To this end, five 'time points' have been identified: T0 (start of MST[-ID] treatment), T1 (end of MST[-ID] treatment), T2 (follow-up 6 month after MST[-ID] treatment), T3 (follow-up 12 month after MST[-ID] treatment), and T4 (follow-up 18 month after MST[-ID] treatment). The qualitative method used to gain insight into families' experiences is determined in consultation with the families. To assess the effectiveness of MST-ID, its treatment outcomes will be compared to standard MST treatment outcomes of families with ID.

The goal of this observational study is to investigate the effectiveness of NMPKs versus MPKs in persons with an LLA in the standard healthcare system in the Netherlands taking all levels of the ICF model into account. Our main aim is to assess the effect of MPK use compared to NMPK use on walking distance, as this is one of the most used outcome variables in literature and thus enables comparison with previous studies. Our secondary aim is to investigate the effect of NMPKs versus MPKs on all ICF-levels: body structures and function, activities and participation. Participants will be seen four times in a year. During these measurement moments they will: - Perform two physical tests - Fill out a set of questionnaires - Wear an activity tracker for one week

Evaluating the Safety of Shortened Infusion Times for dIfferent Oncological Immunotherapie

This study is an interventional, explorative, prospective study to show whether shortening of infusion times for patients using nivolumab, pembrolizumab, ipilimumab, trastuzumab, bevacizumab, durvalumab or atezolizumab continues to be associated with an acceptable safety profile. Infusion times will be gradually shortened if tolerability allowes.
